Street Food around the world

Do you like going for a walk in our town?Do you usually eat something during the walk?What is your favorite food?Can you cook it at home?

Street Food – food you buy from stalls in the streets and eat in the streets.

In lots of countries around the world street food is very popular. Sometimes, Street food is better than restaurant. It`s much cheaper and you know it`s fresh because you watch the chef prepare and cook it in front of you. People often buy and eat food outside at music festivals and at sports events. There are also street food festivals in many cities. People can try new food from around the world at these festivals.

Street food in England and the USA

The name of a popular English dish has been known since the 19th century. Іt consists of deep-fried fish in batter and potato pieces. For the dish, fish with white meat is used. The batter is prepared using dark English ale. Pieces of fish in batter are deep fried. Potatoes are cut into bars and also deep fried. Fish and Chips are most often served with a side dish of pea puree and pickled onions.60 thousand tons of fish and 500 thousand tons of potatoes are used annually to prepare fish and chips in England.“Fish&Chips” can be found in Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, China and many other countries. We associate this dish with the US and laugh about what part of the dog is used in hotdogs. Serving sausage with a bun was invented in Germany. In1867 a baker from Brooklyn named Charles Feltman began selling hot dogs in Coney Island, USA. Sausages served hot, sometimes both the cook and the client got burned and cursed "Hot, Dog!" - THAT'S HOW THE NAME CAME  A hot dog is a typical designer dish to which you can add any ingredients you like. Only the sausage and bun remain unchanged. Served with ketchup and mustard. Annually, Americans consume 20 billion hot dogs. HOT DOG

This is a frozen dessert made from finely crushed ice and sweet syrups. Usually, syrup is added after the ice has been frozen and ground.
