Healthy Eating for Kids

Eating healthy food is very important for growing children. A balanced diet includes fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products, and grains. These foods help children stay strong and healthy.

Fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, and strawberries are sweet and full of vitamins. Vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, potatoes, and cucumbers give us energy and make our bodies strong. Meat and fish are good sources of protein. Chicken, beef, salmon, and tuna help us grow. Dairy products, such as milk, cheese, and yogurt, make our bones and teeth strong. Don’t forget about grains like bread, rice, and pasta; they give us energy to play and learn.

Teenagers should eat three main meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast could include eggs, milk, and toast. For lunch, they can have chicken with vegetables and rice. Dinner might include fish, potatoes, and salad. It’s also important to drink plenty of water and avoid too many sweets or fast food.

By eating a variety of foods, kids can stay healthy and happy!
