Objectives:
- to learn new vocabulary on the topic “Free time activities”;
- to develop speaking skills through the methods of interactive activity (pair work, group work, free communication);
- to practice skills of listening and comprehension, reading , writing and speaking;
- to practice pair work.
Equipment and materials: the book, the workbook, text for listening, computer, Smart-board.

Spiritually aesthetic unit (adjusting of kind and trust relation).
Teacher: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. Today we’ll have an unusual lesson. Let’s sit comfortable and do some exercises to be prepared to our successful lesson.
Greeting song. Hello-hello Nice day-nice day Pleased to see you, Pleased to see you, too. Let’s run- let’s run Let’s play-let’s play I will talk to you I will talk to you. We can dance-we can dance And sing –and sing. We can jump- we can jump And swing-and swing Watch me laugh – watch me laugh And poke a face- and poke a face Now we’re friends- Now we’re friends Come and join us at our place.
Look at the SMART-board. There are some different feelings. Please, choose one which is the best suitable for you now.

As you know different people like doing different things and have different hobbies. So, the topic of our lesson is ”Free time activities. Hobbies”. We’ll speak about our interests and hobbies. We have some aims of our lesson. Read them.
And our task is to achieve all of them. Let’s start! |

Warming-up. At the beginning of our lesson we’ll learn the poem. Now repeat it after me.

Reading. Pre-reading activity Now we are going to read the dialogue . But before we read the dialogue it’s important to know if you are ready to do it. Answer my questions, please. So, now it’s time for your project “My hobby”. Please, show us your presentation . Writing. The next part of our lesson is writing. You’ll work in groups. The task is to write a story “What an unusual hobby do you know?”
