Procedure

Good morning, pupils! How are you? Today we are having one of the last lessons in this term so you are going to have a test on READING in which we will check you understanding of the text. You will have to do 3 tasks after the text.

Do you have any household chores at home? What are they? Which of them do you like? Which you don`t like?

Reading

Pupils are given the text DRAGON STEW (after Tom McGowen) and the worksheets.

1.  Study these words. They will help you to understand the text better:

A stew- a dish cooked in the oven

An apron- smth to protect your clothes

Inch -2.5 cm

An assistant-a helper

A stove-a cooker

2. Read the text and do the tasks.
