Тема:WELCOME TO UKRAINE.

ЛАСКАВО ПРОСИМО В УКРАЇНУ.

Мета:

- вдосконалювати комунікативні навички, узагальнити та систематизувати  знання з теми;практикувати учнів у читані тексту з метою отримання загального уявлення та з метою максимально повного та точного розуміння всієї інформації, що в ньому міститься;

 

- розвивати  навички аудіювання, читання та перекладу речень, текстів, вміння відповідати на запитання, логічно мислити, висловлювати свої думки англійською мовою;

 

- виховувати  любов та повагу до рідної  Батьківщини, бажання пізнання нового, пробуджувати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови.

T:Today  we  have  an  unusual  lesson, we are having guests. I believe that you are ready to show your good knowledge of English. Be more active, do not be afraid of making mistakes. Be brave, smart, happy, try to do your best and be good pupils

So, what country is it?

  - It’s Ukraine.

T: Yes, it’s Ukraine.

 

 

(Slide 5) And really the best place for us is our Motherland, the country we were born in, our native land!

It’s the topic of our today’s lesson.

 

 

(Slide 6) Today we will speak about Ukraine, continue to speak about our native country. You will learn new words, read the text, and do different exercises.

 

 

We live in Ukraine and I hope you love your native land and you are the patriots of your Motherland. Try to do your country best!

 

 

My Motherland

T:It’s a poem by Volodymyr Sosyura about our Motherland. I decided to start our lesson with these beautiful words because they are a magnificent description of our Motherland.

So much beauty can be found in Ukraine!  Her eyes are blue rivers and lakes… Her cheeks are sweet cherry gardens… Her hair is fields of wonderful flowers….

 

 

 

 

T.: Ukraine is our Motherland. What synonyms to the word “Motherland” do you know?

We live in the wonderful country with beautiful nature, generous and hard-working people. We live in the rich country. It has got rich soils, large forests and beautiful steppes.

There are many mountains, rivers and lakes in Ukraine. The Dnipro is the longest river in Ukraine. Kyiv, the capital city of our country, is situated on it. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe. Ukrainian people love their traditions and keep them with great honour.

  •      T:I would like to ask you to do the following: love your Motherland, love our Ukraine. Love it when it is in trouble; love it when it is happy.

 

We should always remember our own origin, traditions and language. Today we must pray for Ukraine, for peace in our native land and in the whole land.
