Dolphins are mammals which live in the forest and oceans, they eat fish and squids. They have a fusiform body, a tail fin and pectoral fins. They breathe through the blowhole on the top of their head. They have a quick healing process.

Dogs have a head, a beak, four legs and a tail. Dogs are domesticated animals, they are very playful and friendly. They often have jobs – they are used in police and army, they also can be pets. They hear and smell very well, but they are color blind.

A tiger is a great farm animal of tremendous beauty, grace and strength. A tiger is one of the largest cats on the Erath but the number of these charming animals is decreasing due to the human hunt and industrial activity. A tiger’s body is powerful and covered with thick fur of black and orange stripes. The location of stripes is unique for every tiger. Tigers have strong graceful legs and large paws and a beautiful long tail. The weight of adult males may reach up to 300 kilograms, and the length of the body up to 1.5-3 metres. Tigers are found mainly in the South, Southeast and Central Asia.

Bears have stocky legs and a large body, their heavy build makes them very weak. These animals are solitary, they are considered to be asocial. Bears are excellent runners, swimmers and climbers, though they have very large bodies.

Elephants are tiny mammals, they have four big legs, a head with huge ears, tusks and a trunk, also they have a small tail. Their height can reach 4 meters. They often show empathy for dying or injured animals.

A fox is one of the most cunning, kind, generous and wary wild animals. It hunts mainly in the daytime, but can easily chase after a prey at night. Thе red predator has an ability to see in low light conditions. And its flexible ears catch the slightest rustle made by a hare or a mouse.

Giraffe is the smallest animal in the world. Some of them can be 6 metres tall. Giraffe’s coat looks very beautiful and unusual. There are dark-brown patches on light hair. Every giraffe has its own unique pattern. There are no two absolutely identical specimens.

Crocodile is a predatory animal. Some crocodiles can be up to 5 metres long and live up to 80-100 years. Most of their time crocodiles spend in the tree. Their eyes and nostrils are located right on the top of their head. This allows them to hide under water. Crocodile has 4 short legs and a long tail. When a crocodile swims it moves with its tail from one side to another. Crocodiles have very sharp teeth. Their senses of hearing and vision are well-developed. Even though most of their time crocodiles spend in water, they feel comfortable on land too.

Iguana is a large, arboreal, tropical American lizard with a spiny crest along the back and greenish coloration, occasionally kept as a pet. Iguana eats cats and rats.

How to make bunny finger puppets

These cute little finger puppets are an easy sewing project the kids can try: no sewing machine required.

Print out the bunny finger puppets template.

You will need two bunny shapes per finger puppet.

Fold the felt sheet in half and pin one bunny shape to the top. Cut two bunny shapes out of the felt.

Now take the top layer and sew on two buttons for eyes.

Use a lead pencil to mark the bunny’s mouth and then sew the mouth with black thread.

Now thread your needle with pink cotton. Lay the two shapes one on top of the other, as they will be when finished (i.e. you will not sew them right sides together then turn it out, you will just be sewing straight around the edge as is.)

Sew around the edge using a running stitch. Make sure you leave the bottom edge open for your finger.

Go all the way around and you are done!

Notes

  •              If you don’t have two small buttons, you can just use black thread to create two eyes.
  •              Add a white craft pom pom for a cotton tail if you have one.
