Ведучий: Добрий день діти, гості нашого заходу. Ми раді вас вітати на незвичайному уроці літератури. Сьогодні ми поговоримо про твір англійського письменника Чарльза Діккенса Різдвяна пісня.......Ой, до нас гості. Добрий день, пане.

Dickens: Hello, where am I?

Ведучий: You are in Ukraine in school №2.

Dickens: Oh, great!

Ведучий: Who are you?

Dickens: I'm an english writer Charles Dickens. Children, do you like my novels?

Учні:Yes, very much.

Dickens: What novel have you read?

Учні: Christmas Carol.

Ведучий: M. Dickens, children are fond of your works. May we ask you some questions?

Dickens: Yes, sure.

Учень 1: What do you remember from your childhood?

Dickens: I had a very difficult childhood. My family was poor and I had to work at a factory.

Учень 2: M. Dickens, we know that you traveled a lot. What countries did you visit?

Dickens: The USA, Italy, Swiss.

Учень 3: You wrote a lot about children, why?

Dickens: I wanted to show the real life of poor children.

Ведучий: Thank you for your answers. Now, dear M. Dickens, we want to show you how well we know your Christmas Carol. Come here, take a seat and enjoy. Зараз учні покажуть сценку з твору Діккенса Різдвяна пісня. Племінник приходить до свого дядька Скруджа, щоб запросити його відсвяткувати разом Різдво. Але Скрудж, злий та черствий, відмовляється. Для нього Різдво – це лише відмовка, щоб не працювати.

Scene 1

(Mr. Scrooge and his nephew in his office)

Nephew: - Good morning, Uncle! Merry Christmas!

Scrooge: - Merry Christmas! You have no right to be merry. You are poor.

Nephew: - I’m poor, but I’m happy, because I’m married to a woman who I love and God gave us wonderful children.

Scrooge: - Love is even sillier than a Merry Christmas.

Nephew: - Uncle, we would like to invite you to have Christmas dinner together with our family.

Scrooge: - I don’t want to hear about it. Christmas is only an excuse not to work.

Nephew: - But, Uncle, you’ve never been to my house before. That’s not fair.

Scrooge: - Have a nice day!

Nephew: - I ask you for nothing. We are relatives and I want to be together on such a special occasion.

Scrooge: - Have a nice day! Merry Christmas and good bye.

Nephew: - But Christmas is the time of forgiveness, love and charity.

Scrooge: - That was a wonderful speech!

Nephew: - As you wish uncle. Blessed be Christmas! Good bye!

(Nephew leaves the room)

Scene 2

(Somebody knocks on the door and a gentleman collecting money for charity comes in)

Girl: - Good afternoon, Mr. Scrooge! We are collecting money for poor people. Thousands of people are in need of the simplest things!

Scrooge: - Poor people’s place is in prison. Go out!

Girl: - But, Mr. Scrooge, on Christmas people shouldn’t forget about generosity. It’s a chance for us to think about those miserable who need our help.

Scrooge: - I live in a crazy world with fools! I won’t give you a penny! Go away!

Dickens: How great! Your acting is excellent! I liked it! Thank you!

Ведучий: Діти а тепер давайте позмагаємось хто краще знає життя та творчість Діккенса.

Ведучий: наша вікторина завершена. (команди нагороджуються "За швидкість", "За влучність", "За  активність").

Ведучий: Діти, вже незабаром 25 грудня у Великобританії святкують різдво. Різдво – це родинне свято, це свято дарує усім надію на краще майбутнє, це свято змінює людей, робить їх чуйнішими, добрішими, багатшими. Давайте подаруємо усім святковий настрій у передчутті зимових свят.

Учні: виконують пісню Jingle Bells.
