Тема: Seasons and Weather

Мета: автоматизувати вміння і навички учнів з теми «Природа. Погода» з опорою на вивчені лексичні й граматичні структури; впроваджувати в практику інноваційні технології навчання; повторити назви місяців року; навчати читати дати (день і місяць); розвивати вміння учнів спілкуватись про погоду, вміння монологічного і діалогічного мовлення; розвивати пам'ять, мислення, уяву; виховувати естетичні смаки, любов до природи, працелюбність в оволодінні знань англійською мовою.

Тип уроку: комбінований.

Обладнання: підручник, таблиця, лексичні картки, комп’ютер, аудіо-запис «Пори року», картки для індивідуального опитування, сюжетні малюнки, малюнки для гри, малюнки- пазли, тести, картки для контрольного опитування; кросворд.

ХІД УРОКУ

 І.   ШДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

1. Привітання

Т: Good morning pupils!

Рs: Good morning, teacher!

Т: How are you?

Рs: We are fine.

T: Children, today we have some guests. Please, greet them.

Ps: Good morning, dear teachers!

Good morning! How are you?

We are  very happy

To say hello to you!

2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

T: My dear children! I want to start our lesson, but I can't do it. Look at the board. You can see a bad magician there. He flew here and turned our topic into questions. This magician is very evil and powerful. He gave this box to us. We can find the questions in it. And we should answer them. I think we'll be able to answer these questions and find out the topic of the lesson. Let's do it together. So, take the question, please.

(Учні відповідають на питання)

4. Which season comes after spring?

3. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

T: The topic of our lesson is “Seasons and Weather”. Today we are going to speak about the seasons of the year and about the weather. We’ll practice our skills in speaking and reading, listening and writing. You will also learn to tell the dates. So, I wish you to be calm and to work well. But first let’s revise the previous topic and check your homework.

T: Take, please, white cards. You should fill in the sentences and match with the pictures. So you have  2 minutes.

II. ОСНОВНА ЧАСТИНА УРОКУ

1. Практикування у вживанні лексичного матеріалу уроку.

1) Розгадування загадок

T: As your know, there are four seasons in a year. I will read the riddles and you have to guess what season is it.

• This is the season when the sun is bright,

           And we have holidays each day and night. (Summer)

• This is the season with snow so white.

We ski and skate with all our might. (Winter)

• This is the season when days are cool,

When we put on our raincoats and go to school. (Autumn)

• This is the season when snowdrops bloom,

When nobody likes to study in the room. (Spring)

T: Good for you! So, open your books and look at the pictures of ex. 1 on page 127. Describe what you see in the picture. We can see here the seasons and their months. There are 4 weeks in the months. There are thirty or thirty-one days in the month. There are three months in the season. There are twelve months in the year. Let’s name them.

2) Робота на картках

T: Take the yellow cards, please. Your task is to divide the months according to the season. You have 2 minutes.

T: Now we are going to play the game “Agree or Disagree”. Tanya, will you start, please.

(Читає) That’s enough. Nastya, go on, please.

3. Активізація монологічного мовлення

1) Прослуховування аудіозаписів

Т: Let’s listen to the sounds of the nature. Describe the weather after each listening and say what season is it in your opinion.

( Прослуховування звуків)

2) Гра «Знайди свою частину»

T: Somebody has torn the pictures. Try to describe your part. After that the pupil who has the second part must guess and complete the picture.

( Вчитель роздає картинки. По черзі діти описують дану частину, а учень, у якого знаходиться друга половинка, має відгукнутись і доповнити малюнок)

4. Подання нового граматичного матеріалу. Впр. 5, с.128.

1) Пояснення граматичного матеріалу

T: Look at the table on page 128. We see the dates. Remember! We write 16^th May, but we say the sixteenth of May...

2) Практикування у вживанні дат. Впр. 6, с.128.

T:  - What date was yesterday?

• What date was the day before?
• What date was a month ago?

Ps: It was the ninth of  April yesterday?

3) Впр. 7, с.128.

4) Робота в парах

(Розігрування діалогу)

5) Робота з картками.

T: Take the blue cards. You should listen to the dates and choose the right variant.

5) Перевірка виконаного.

5. Гра «Художники»

Т: I have many pencils.

Red and green and blue.

I shall draw a picture

And give it to you.

T: I know that you like Art lessons very much. Let’s draw.

Ви всі дуже любити малювати. Так ось. Ми художники та поети. Зараз я вам роздам малюнки. Вони всі були різнокольорові. Але пройшов сильний дощ – і фарба зникла. Ваше завдання – зафарбувати малюнки, але певними кольорами.

The bird is grey,

The flower is blue,

The tree is green,

The sun is yellow,

The cloud is white

The butterfly is bright.

T: So, let’s check.

6. Фізкультхвилинка

T: Let’s have a rest.

• Imagine that we are the trees. Hands up.
• And now it is windy.
• The clouds appeared in the sky and now we are drops of  the rain ( I want to hear the sound of the rain)
• We are the children and we are running from the rain and hiding.
• The rain stopped. It is sunny. Stand straight! Smile and sit down.

III. ЗАКРІПЛЕННЯ НАБУТИХ ЗНАНЬ, УМІНЬ ТА НАВИЧОК.

1. Кросворд

T: There is a puzzle on the blackboard. Your task is to write the months into alphabetic order. Let’s do it.

2. Вправа «Кореспондент»

T: And now let’s describe the weather which was several days ago. Let’s imagine that you are a correspondent who forecast the weather. Ask your classmates about the weather.

- What weather do we usually have this time of the year?

- Was the weather sunny/rainy/snowy?

- Were there any clouds in the sky?

- Was it sunny or cloudy?

- Was it windy?

- Did you like it? Why?

3. Групова робота «Сонечко»

( Кожна група отримує сонечко, на промінчиках якого вона повинна написати слова, що асоціюються з погодою та порами року).

IV. ДОМАШНЄ ЗАВДАННЯ

T: Children, take your daybooks and write down your hometask. Your hometask will be…..
