                 Урок  у  10  класі  з  теми “Сучасні засоби комунікації і технології”

Мета:     розвивати  вміння  критичного  мислення  під  час читання; ознайомити  з     

               новими  словами; активізувати  граматичні  навички- вживання фразових дієслів,

               розвивати вміння  аудіювати  текст;  вміння  вести  бесіду; практикувати учнів в   

               читанні, письмі та усному мовленні.

Обладнання:   підручник, роздатковий  матеріал, тематична схема.

                                                     Хід  уроку:

І. Introduction. Greeting.

1.Warming-up.

           Our  lesson is  special  because  we  have  a  special  topic  to discuss. Modern life is impossible without computer technologies. Nowadays  everybody must use  and  know computers. What do you think:

1.Why do more and more people use computers nowadays?

2.Do computers actually make our life easier?

3.What can we use computers for?

4.Why do you think teenagers are attracted by computers greatly?

5.Where do you see the right balance between the virtual reality and real communication?

2..Brainstorm.

You see  the  word  “computers”.  What  words  do   you  associate  with  it? What can we do on the computers?

       Listen to music      make “chat” friends     prepare school work        

share hobbies and                        Computers               find information

interests with  newsgroups      do the online shopping

download pages with photos, music            surf the Internet     send and receive e-mails

II. Main part of the lesson.

3. Learning new vocabulary.

            An access, an attachment, a data, a device, hardware, input, output, software,

  a  website, online, to access,  to surf.

4. Work with the vocabulary. Doing the exercises 5-7 p.74-75.

5.Reading.  Let’s  read the text quickly.

5.1.Refer each paragraph(1-8) to its heading (A-H).

5.2. Complete the sentences

6. Oral  speaking. Group work.( according to the text)

7. Work with the computer.

7.1.Match the pictures (1-10) with the words.

7.2. Look at the Mind Map with the verbs that are used before the word “file”

   A file -  save, rename, move, delete, copy, close, open, create

7.3.Complete the short text with the words in the box and in the Word Map above.(ex.2 p.76)

8. Work in pairs. (ex.8-9 p.75)

9.Grammar point. Phrasal  verbs. Doing exercises, practice ex. 1-4 p.77-78.

10.Listening.

10.1. Listen to the conversation and name four things one needs to get connected to the World Wide Web.

10.2.Listen again and complete the text.(ex.4.p.79)

III. Conclusion.

11. Home  assignment.  Write  about  your experiences of the Internet use.
