The Bologna process in Ukraine

The implementation of the Bologna process in Ukraine is considered as one of the main guidelines in the context of the European integration. 

The purpose of the Bologna Process is the creation of the European Higher Education Area by making academic degree standards and quality assurance standards more comparable and compatible throughout Europe. 

 Ukraine had joined the Bologna process by 2008. 

According to the requirements of the Bologna Process, Ukraine is obliged to make corresponding changes into the national system of education. 

The Bologna process is aimed at the reformation of the system of the higher education. 

The Bologna process was initiated and approved entirely by the members of the European Union. 

 All the member states of the European Union are involved into the reform of their educational systems in accordance to the substantive provisions of the Bologna process.
