Ukrainian diaspora in Canada. The modern Ukrainian ethnic group in Canada has no permanent settlements - so-called ethnic enclaves: Canadian Ukrainians live mixed with other nationalities throughout the country. Ukrainian immigrants from the first wave settled mainly in the western virgin areas of Canada - in the provinces of Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
Having been separated from Ukraine, Ukrainian Canadians have developed their own distinctive Ukrainian culture in Canada. To showcase their unique hybrid culture, Ukrainian Canadians have created institutions that showcase Ukrainian Canadian culture such as “Edmonton's Cheremosh” and “Shumka troupes” – among the world's elite Ukrainian dancers; or the “Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village” – where Ukrainian pioneer buildings are displayed along with extensive cultural exhibits.
The Ukrainian Canadians had and have much more influence in Canadian society and policy than any other East European group; therefore they have had several prominent figures in top positions. Ray Hnatyshyn was the 24th Governor General of Canada (1990–1995) and the first Governor General of Ukrainian descent. Roy Romanow was Premier of Saskatchewan(1991–2001), also partly at the same time as Filmon and Hnatyshyn.
The first Ukrainian immigrant to America, Ivan Bohdan, sailed with John Smith to the Jamestown colony in 1607. Large scale Ukrainian immigration to America did not begin, however, until the 1880s. The largest wave of Ukrainians came in the early 1990s, after the fall of the Soviet Union.
An important role in the life of the Ukrainian community of the United States is played by the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America. UNWLA carries out extensive educational, educational and cultural-artistic work. The organization has established a large number of humanitarian and charitable foundations. The largest Ukrainian youth organizations in the USA are the Ukrainian Youth Association. They consider their main task to be the education of Ukrainian youth in the spirit of loyalty to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian diaspora in Australia has achieved a change in the commercial of the local channel “Channel 7”. The conflict arose around the promo version of one of the show's releases, in which two contestants from Russia were shot. The letter "K" in the logo was replaced with a hammer and sickle. According to the Ukrainian diaspora, the hammer and sickle symbolize inhuman treatment, genocide and human rights violations in the Soviet Union.

Ukrainian Artist Society of Australia – the organization of Ukrainian artist, founded in 1967 and especially active in the 1970’s. The purpose and tasks of the artistic association are to preserve and continue the forms of Ukrainian national art and to represent Ukrainian culture in front of foreigners, to preserve the national essence of their art and to keep up with the world of art with their creative ideas.
Over the past 10 years, the number of Ukrainians on the Apennine Peninsula has increased by almost ten times. The main motive for moving was and remains to work. Most of them (80%) are women. In general, more than half of the Ukrainian worker-in-law in Italy are people with higher education. On September 4, 2013, a bill was submitted to the Italian Cabinet for consideration by which immigrants were given the opportunity to take office in state institutions.
