Objectives:

to revise the letters ‘A a – Z z’;

to practice the ABC song;

to develop Ps’ listening and speaking skills.

Vocabulary: ABC.

Structures:

Materials: PB, flashcards, ABC poster, pencils, crayons, glue and scissors.

Outcomes: by the end of the lessons Ps will be able to revise letters.

1. Warming up

Game “ABC snake”

Give letters each P and explain them that they are going to stay in alphabetical order.

2. Presentation

Ex. 1, p. 12 – point and name.

Explain to Ps they should point and name pictures and letters what they see.

3. Practice

Ex. 2, p. 12 – match and say.

Say Ps that they should match letters with appropriate animals.

Exercise with Panda

Ex. 3, p. 12 – make your ABC book.

Hand out sheets of paper and ask Ps to take their pencils, crayons, glue and scissors. Tell them to draw their own ABC book.

4. Ending

The ABC song

Tell Ps that they are going to sing the ABC song.
