Урок англійської мови для 4 класу на тему "Пори року та погода"

Тема: Seasons and Weather. Past Simple Tense.

Мета: - закріпити нові ЛО, активізувати вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал, розвивати вміння та навички читання, письма, усного монологічного та діалогічного мовлення.

-розвивати логічне мислення, увагу та зорову пам’ять, спостережливість, розвивати усні комунікативні уміння з опорою на наочність.

Обладнання: картки «Пори року», картки для самостійної роботи, аудіо запис вправ підручника, відео запис фізхвилинки.

Хід уроку:

I. Greeting.(“Hello Song”)

II. Warming up.

- What day is it today?

- What season is it now?

- What is the weather like today? (відповіді учнів)

III. The main part of the lesson.

1. Vocabulary Revision.

-Look at the blackboard. You can see a chain of words written there and pictures of seasons. Write, please the names of the seasons and then find and circle all the Weather - words . Write them in the correct column.

(діти виходять по черзі до дошки, пишуть слова і створюють речення,  наприклад : It is usually hot in summer)

2. Presenting and Practising New Vocabulary.

- Listen and repeat after me. (впр. 1 стор.103)

- Let’ s make some sentences with new words. (учні утворюють речення з новими словами)

3. Listening and Reading.

a) Pre-Reading Activity.

- Look at the picture of exercise 2 on page 103.

-Who can you see there?

- What is the weather like?

- What is the boy doing?

- Who is he writing a letter to?(відповіді учнів)

-Now let’s see what is the letter about. 

b) Listening and Reading.

- Listen carefully to the letter and then read it.

(учні слухають аудіозапис листа та читають )

c) After-Reading Activity .

- Complete the sentences. ( учні по черзі заповнюють речення, впр. 3 стор. 104 )

4. Grammar Practice.

На дошці:

Winter comes after spring.          Winter came yesterday.

Taras writes letters every week.                Taras wrote a letter two days ago.

You play snowballs in winter.                    You played snowballs last year.

They usuallyskate in the evening.             They skated yesterday.

- Write the sentences and say what is the difference between them.

(Діти читають речення, визначають різницю між ними. Складають разом із вчителем правило утворення Past Simple.)

- What can you say about these sentences?

She played snowballs yesterday.

Did she play snowballs yesterday?

She did not play snowballs yesterday.

(Пояснити на прикладах як утворюються заперечні та питальні речення.)

- Now let’s work with cards. Read the sentences and write the negative and interrogative forms. (учні працюють самостійно з картками потім читають утворені речення)

5.Relaxation.

- Let’s sing the song of winter. (впр.  4 стор. 104).

IV. Summing up.

1) Homework (впр.  стор.  РЗ )

2) – What did you learn at the lesson? (відповіді учнів)
