Healthy food ad junk food

(Grade 5)

 

 

Objectives: by the end of the lesson students will be able to:

  •     practical: to present and expand the vocabulary related to the topic; to activate pupils' reading, writing, listening skills;
  •     educational: to boarden pupils' knowledge about ‘the  healthy eating pyramid’,red and write sort answer;

Equipment: Course book, audio CD, com­puters, flashcards,

interactive whiteboard, PowerPoint presentation.

PROCEDURE

  1. INTRODUCTION

We areredy to start.

So I would like you to stand up.

- Hello,my dear students! I’m very happy to see you ad well come to our English lesson.

II. WARMING UP

T.  Are you ready for the lesson?

The task for you is very easy.

You should repeat the actions and the words after me.Ready?

Let’s start.

-         It’s time to think.

-         It’s time to speak.

-         It’s time to show.

-         Ready, stady- go!

Now we will try to do it a bit faster.

And now we do it as fast as you can.

-         Are you rady for the Eglish lesson?

-         Take your sits.

Before we start our journey I wat ask you some questions.

This is the ball with different questions/I would pass you this ball aroud ad you should throw it and answer in front of the cube.

-         Fantastic! Now I want to know some fact about you.

-         The task is very easy: I will say what I like and you shoul say ‘I like it too’ if you like the same. Ok.

-         I like eating ice-cream. And you?

-         I like to dance.And you?

-         I like to speak English.And you?

-         I love to eat Healthy food!

I’m sure you like healthy food. So now I want you to guess the topic of our lesson.

Let’s have a lot of picture.

-         What do you see?

-         How do we say that?

-         So what we will speak today about? Perfect.

  • Phonetic Drill “Monkey Talk”

You will see this phonics /ea/. We can pronounce it as / I : / and as / e//

You should to choose the words with /i:/ sound and words with /e/sound.

III. MAIN PART

  1. Vocabulary Revision. Power Point Presentation

-Now you will see a part of the words.You should make up the whole words.

2.Brainstorming.  Vocabulary presentetion

 

 

3.Listening.

-Now you will listen a text and you should to find and fill a right words in the table.

4. Reading.

- Ok. Now let’s open our class books at p.80.and read it one by one.

5.Relaxation. Musical Pause

T.Do you like to sing? Let’s sing my favourite song “Healthy food”/

You have 2 colours hands. If you hear word what mean healthy food- you have to show me a green side,if you hear unhealthy word – red side.

 

 

 

6. Oral Practice. Time to create.

-    Now its time to project.

     Look at the whiteboard.You will see a healthy plate. There is vegetables,f ruit, grain and protein (fish, meat) on this plate.

We must to eat this products if we want to be a healthy and strong.

We should to create yor own healthy plate ad write what people must to eat and mustn’t eat that to be more healthy.

Working in groups. You have  5 minutes.

Use glue, use markers.

 

 

T.Our trip is coming to the end.The last task- you have to solve the pazzle.
