Урок англійської мови у 5 класі за темою "Food for life"

Нестандартний урок англійської мови у 5 класі за темою "Їжа в нашому житті" було проведено з метою повторити та узагальнити знання учнів з теми "Їжа". Протягом уроку учні в ігровій формі повторювали лексичний матеріал, вживання неозначених займенників some/any, Present Simple. За відповіді кожен отримував смайл - умовний бал. На уроці використано цікаві завдання з усіх видів мовленнєвої діяльності - аудіювання, говоріння, читання, письма.

Lesson Aim

Students will repeat the vocabulary on the topic “Food”; use in practice the Present Simple Tense; complete sentences using some, any

Learning Outcomes

 activated some words and word-combinations in speaking;

 practiced in making sentences in using Present Simple;

 developed students` creative abilities;

 developed students` speaking, reading, listening and speaking skills;

  focused on advanced learning English;

 practiced students in pair activities.

Lesson procedure:

1. Greeting and Warming up

Phonetic drill.

Let’s sing a song “I like to eat…” and repeat the sounds

2. Aim

      Today we’ll speak about (food). We are going to play, sing, dance, read, write and speak English. For each answer you will get a smile). At the end of our lesson I’ll put marks for the number of your smiles.  

3. Proverbs

-  Students, come to the blackboard and connect two parts of the proverbs

 

•Tastes differ.

•After dinner sit a while, after supper walk a mile.

•Too much butter won’t spoil the porridge.

  • Let’s play! I’ve got a portrait of a strange man but his face is made of different fruit and vegetables. Name the parts of his face and get a smile for your answer

  • Listen to the text about Meggy’s likes and dislikes.

  • Look at the text again, read it.
