Homework:: AB p.33, t.3
Procedure:
Teacher: I’m glad to see you. Every body of you has a friend. What are they like? What do they look like? Would you like to tell about them? That’s why we ‘re going to remind and learn some vocabulary.
Let’s divide into pairs.
I give each pair/group a list of 3-4 adjectives to describe personality and to brainstorm a fictional character from a film or a book who has these traits. After a few minutes, each pair shares the name of their character with the class and ask other Ss to guess which traits this character has.
Example:
Personality adjectives: brave, kind, helpful
Fictional character: Harry Potter
Personality adjectives: hard working, friendly, well- organized. (Robinson Crusoe)
Personality adjectives: clever, friendly, helpful, curious, tidy. (Sherlock Holmes)
Personality adjectives: untidy, friendly, outgoing. (Tom Sawyer).
Read out sentence (‘A person who is helpful’) and find a matching ending on the right (‘is ready to help’). Say the right endings to adjectives 2-12 in turn. Then write six sentences with the adjectives 1-12 in your notebooks.
(Pupils write and then read the sentences one by one about their relatives and friends.)
Look at the pictures on the blackboard. Listen to the words and pronounce them. Then label the words to the pictures. ( Flashcards presentation of the words)
