TOPIC: MY HOME AND MY HOUSHOLD DUTIES

PRACTICAL  AIM:  розвиток монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, покращити сприймання аудіо матеріалу, закріплення граматичного матеріалу PRESENT  CONTINIOUS, PRESENT SIMPLE. Опрацювати підготовлені проекти, покращення письмового мовлення та закріплення лексики у рольових іграх.

CULTURAL AIM: виховання в учнів культури мовної поведінки, вміння поводитись в різноманітних життєвих ситуаціях, повагу до різних культур, країн.

EDUCATIONAL AIM: сприяти вихованню бажання вчитися, пізнавати щось нове, поширювати світогляд учнів, розвивати навички самостійної роботи.

DEVELOPING AIM: розвивати логічне мислення, стійкість уваги, пам’ять та мимовільне запам’ятовування, збагачувати уяву.

EQUIPMENT: the CD-recorder, the cards, the textbook, the pictures, the workbook, the blackboard.

PROCEDURE

1. GREETING: the pupils are individually greeted using different conversational formulae. (in English and Polish)

2. INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC(in English and Polish)

              The pupils are asked to guess the topic of the lesson. They look at the    collage compiled from the prompts in the form of pictures and word expressions on the topic.

3. VOCABULARY DRILL

The expressions are on the screen ( the UKRAINIAN equivalents). The teachers show the flags and the pupils translate the expressions into Polish and English.

4. TRANSLATION TRANSFORMATION
5. The pupils are divided into two groups. They are given two balls with the word expressions in Ukrainian on the stickers and the task is to translate the expressions transforming them into the sentences. (in English and Polish)
6.  LISTENING COMPREHENSION

The pupils watch the video and do the tasks based on it.

Pre- watching

The pupils look at the key words. They give the ideas about the video passage.

While- watching 

The pupils answer the questions after the stop of the video.

7. Some minutes of relaxation.

The pupils watch the cartoon and imitate the exercises.

8. Project work

The pupils represent their projects using two languages. There are four projects.

After watching the projects, the pupils are given pieces of paper of different colours. They make so-called snow balls asking the questions in a written form. Then they throw them to the opponents. The pupils write the answers and read them. The author of every project is an expert in checking on the answers. The pupils choose the best flat for Jeff.

9. SPEAKING (IN A FORM OF THE ROLE-PLAY GAME)

The pupils play in the game “Home, Sweet Home” in Polish, the other part of the pupils play the game “Landladies” in English.

10.  POEM TRANSFORMATION

The pupils watch the slide, it’s bilingual. The task is to transform the poem into English. The pupils listen to the original poem. Then they ask the question about the place of living of the author. The pupils do the exercise to define true or false statements.

11.  EVALUATION and HOMETASK

The pupils describe a perfect place of living. They choose a pinned picture for this aim. They should explain their choice using 2 languaes.
