План-конспект уроку англійської мови

Тема: Choosing a career.

Мета: повторити та узагальнити знання отримані під час вивчення теми, схиляти учнів обрати свою майбутню професію; актуалізувати опорні лексичні одиниці через різні види мовленнєвої діяльності, удосконалювати вміння робити висновки, аналізувати, порівнювати; розвивати мовленнєві, інтелектуальні та пізнавальні здібності, зорову й довгострокову пам'ять, увагу, уяву; розвивати в учнів уміння аналізувати свої особистісні якості, стосовно майбутньої професії; сприяти розвитку вміння визначати професійні якості особистості під час роботи в малих групах; сприяти вихованню розуміння в учнів важливості і необхідності реалізації своїх умінь і здібностей через обрану професію; розширювати кругозір, виховувати любов до знань та бажання дізнаватися більше нового.

Тип уроку: урок повторення та узагальнення вивченого.

Обладнання: комп'ютер, мультимедійний проектор,  роздатковий матеріал (картки для роботи в групах, тести, анкети),аудіо диск.

Хід уроку

1. Організаційний момент. Налаштування на сприйняття іншомовного матеріалу.

T.: Good morning, nice to see you. How are you today? What date is it today? Is somebody absent today?

2. Повідомлення теми уроку. Мотивація навчальної діяльності. Використання методики «Асоціативний кущ».
T.: Today we are going to speak about professions. We have to get information about popular and unpopular jobs, well-paid and low-paid jobs, to analyze qualities that each job requires, to compare the advantages and disadvantages of popular jobs, to  speak about  your plans for future. What do you associate with the word “future”?

3 Мовленнєва розминка. Розвиток артикуляційних навичок.

T.: I think you know the Ukrainian and English provebs and statements about professions and jobs. Let's read and repeat after me. Try to find the translation. "The early bird gets the worm" "God helps those, who help themselves" "Live and Learn" "It takes the character, the never - say - quit spirit to succeed in business". What does it mean? Did you understand? "Для того, щоб досягти успіху в бізнесі, потрібно характер і вміння не здаватися "" Хто рано встає, тому Бог дає "" Вік  живи - вік учись "" На бога надійся, а сам не зівай "

4. Актуалізація опорних ЛО.

T.: What professions do you know? (сама цікава професія, сама смачна професія, сама творча професія, небезпечна професія, професія пов’язана з дітьми, з тваринами, з музикою, з кіно)

5. Розвиток навичок критичного мислення. Робота в малих групах.

T.: Учні діляться на 4 групи  і кожна група отримує картку із завданням.

Do you know that personal qualities and your character traits are very important for choosing profession. Name the qualities that each job requires: fireman, doctor, writer, teacher.

6. Розвиток навичок аудіювання з використанням зорової опори (відео) та без її використання.

A. T.: Look at the screen. Be very attentive. Try to understand what plans for future have these people and what job they want to do? After the interview you have to connect photos of the people and the names of profession.

(A-solicitor, B-doctor, C-research assistant, D-want to enter the university)

T.: You see all these people want to have very good job but before it what we have to do? (To enter the university or to learn)

B. T.: And now let's listen to the people which have made their career already. What do  they do and what advantages and disadvantages have their jobs? Take the cards please. You have to complete the sentences after listening the text.

7. Розвиток навичок читання вголос з детальним розумінням тексту. Виконання тесту.
T.: What would you like to be? Do you know what type of job you would like to have? Answer the questions and see what our career specialist says about you! You must put a cross in the box marked Yes or No.

If your score is between 5-45
You enjoy working with people and helping them. You are also a practical person. One of these careers will suit you: teacher, doctor, nurse, social worker, psychologist, zoo keeper, policeman
If your score is between 45-90
You like to work quietly and concentrate on the task. You prefer to work on your own. One of these careers will suit you: laboratory technician, librarian, artist, bank clerk, hair-dresser, architect.
If your score is between 90-135
You like to be very busy. You like to be with people and you like organizing things for them. One of the following careers will suit you: travel agent, journalist, hotel manager, salesperson, fireman.
8. Розвиток навичок  монологічного мовлення.

T.: And now tell me please you really want to have such professions like you got in test? And how do you think what is the most important to have well-paid job or to have the job you like to do?

9. Підведення підсумків уроку.

T.: Have our lesson helped you to understand what job you want to have? But if it is not right, listen to the poem. You have to understand that to choose the job is not so important. The most important to be kind, clever und healthy person. Remember it. 

10. Домашнє завдання.

T.: You have to think over and make presentation about the role of foreign language in nowadays world of professions.
