Тема уроку: “Christmas time”. 

Мета уроку:

Практична:

- ознайомити з новою лексикою до теми «Christmas time»;

- практикувати учнів в аудіювання тематичного  тексту, вчити вести бесіду за прослуханим текстом;

- розвивати навички читання та монологічного мовлення за темою.

Розвивальна:

- розвивати мовну здогадку, фонематичний та інтонаційний слух.
Освітня:

- розширити знання учнів про традиції святкування Різдва в англомовних країнах;

- розширити знання учнів про граматичне явище: структуру “There is/ There are”.

Виховна:

- виховувати повагу до традицій країни, мову якої вивчаємо.

Тип уроку: розвиток знань, умінь та навичок

Обладнання: підручник, ТЗН, роздатковий матеріал, аудіоматеріали, онлaйн ресурси.

Хід уроку

І. Організаційний етап. Привітання.

1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

2. Уведення в іншомовне  середовище. Poem.

I like to see Christmas!

I like to see the tree.

And I like to see Santa

3. Мозковий штурм “Вrainstorming”.

    Task: Why do you like winter?

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

1. Введення лексики з теми «Christmas time».

            Хорова робота.Фонетичне опрацювання нових ЛО:

to hang, stockings, sing, carols, to give, to open presents,

trees, decorate, chimney.

    Task: ”What happens on Christmas?”

2. Виконання вправи.  Task: Match the parts of word-combinations:

3. Усне мовлення: активізаці вживання нової лексики в мовленні учнів.  

      Teacher: “Tell me, please how you decorate your Christmas Tree”.

                                Use the following expressions:

       1) Pre-listening. Task: Read the exercise and fill in the gaps.

       2) While-listening. Task: Listen to the text and choose the right answer.

        English people celebrate Christmas on the 25^th of December. They decorate Christmas trees. First they put lights around the tree. Next, they put decorations on the tree. Finally, they put a star on the top of the tree. Children hang stockings on their beds and put a carrot for reindeer.

       Santa Claus is an old man with a white beard. He lives at the North Pole. Santa Claus comes on a sleigh with reindeer. He climbs down the chimney and puts presents into children’s stockings. If the children are bad, Santa gives them a lump of coal. If the children are good, Santa gives them toys.

       Elves help Santa make toys in his workshop. Santa travels around the world in his sleigh with reindeer. When he stops at a house, he goes down the chimney to put presents for children.

       At Christmas, people sing carols. They give presents to each other or send Christmas cards.
