практична: ознайомити та відпрацювати  лексику за  темою  «Important life events», повторити утворення  Past Simple правильних та неправильних дієслів, розвивати   навички аудіювання, читання, логічного мислення

освітня: розширення кругозору і знань учнів з теми, розвивати вміння  працювати з текстом, картками;

розвиваюча: розвивати увагу, пам'ять, мовну здогадку, мислення

виховна:  виховувати культуру спілкування, інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови

T: Excellent! Today we`ll speak about important life events. And not only about  present, but also about past events. Let`s start! Open your copy books and write down the date.

1. T: Your home task was to find the information about some famous people. Ex.2 p. 32 Read your sentences. Let`s start. Who is Angeline Jolie? In what picture is she? ( I think picture F is Angelina Jolie ).

2. T: Excellent! Let`s continue. There are 8 sentences with the information about these celebrities with the missing words. Your task is to listen and complete the sentences with one or two words. Listen, please.
    

1. T: Now, let`s check your sentences. Compare your answers with a key.
   Read by chain with translation.
   (Pupils read by chain).

6. T: Good job! It`s time to have a rest! Let`s sing our song. (on TV )
7. When we speak about past events what tense do we use? ( Past simple ).
How do we form it?
8. T: Excellent! There is a letter for you from a German boy. His name is Hans. He wrote about the important events of his granddad Adam. Hans doesn`t know English very well, that`s why he made a lot of mistakes. Your task is to read his letter, find the mistakes in the verbs and correct them. There are 10 mistakes. You`ll have marks for this task.

Each corrected mistake is one point. Correct the mistakes with your green pens. You have 5 minutes.
My grandpa Adam  beed  born in Austria. In 1962 he goed to school. He were a naughty boy. But he been a brave boy. He wanted to be a pilot. In 1980 Adam becomed  a pilot.
Then he moves to Germany and buyed a house there. One day he meeted a young and a beautiful girl. They getted married in 1982. In 1983 my father Luis beed born.
My grandparents Adam and Ruth are living near Dresden now.
