But, when the man found that ship, his friend said, that all gold and silver have gone because the ship had holes in it. He couldn’t buy fine dresses. He wanted to buy a rose for Beauty but the flower girl didn’t have any.

On the way home the man lost his way in the forest. A strange wind blew and it began to snow. He saw a light through the trees and went into a strange palace. There he found dinner, a bed, fine clothes. But he saw nobody there. In the morning the sun shone and the man saw many beautiful roses in the garden.

Father: Oh, no! Don’t take Beauty!

Beast: Bring me Beauty or you will die. I want to live with her.

Girl: Did he really want to live with Beauty? He is so terrible!! He is the Beast!

Boy: What did Father decide to do?

Beauty: My father is ill and all alone. Please, may I go home and visit him?

Beast: I love you. Please, don’t go.

Beauty: Please let me go for just one week.

Beast: If you go, you will not come back.

Beauty: I will come back. I cannot marry you but I will be your friend.

Beast: Please come back. I will wait for you.

THE SLEEPING BEAUTY

Once there was a king and a queen. Their little daughter was going to be christened. The queen chose twelve fairy godmothers for the child. They promised her health, wealth and beauty. But the king and the queen forgot to invite one bad fairy. She said that the princess would prick her finger and fall asleep for a hundred years.

The king and queen immediately banned all sharp needles from the kingdom. But somehow one was missed, and when the princess reached her 18-th birthday, she found it and pricked her finger. She fell asleep at once, and the entire palace with her.

Time passed, and tales of the sleeping princess were told to princess in other lands. Many searched for the palace, but it had become so overgrown with trees and thorn bushes that none of them succeded.

Then, just one hundred years after the princess had fallen asleep, a handsome young prince stumbled across the forest. He hacked his way through the trees and thorns until he reached the cobweb-covered palace and all its sleeping inhabitants. He entered and soon found the princess, asleep on her bed. He thought she was beautiful and kissed her. She awoke and fell in love with the prince straight away. Then everyone woke up. The prince and princess were married, and they all lived happily ever after.
