🔹 4. Reading
I’ve been thinking a lot about my phone habits lately, and honestly, I don’t like what I see. The first thing I do in the morning is check my notifications, and the last thing I do before going to bed is scroll through social media. Sometimes I don’t even realise how much time I spend online — I just lose track of time.
Recently, I’ve started to feel more stressed and tired. I often get distracted while studying because I keep checking my phone every few minutes. Even when I try to focus, notifications interrupt me. It’s frustrating because I know I could be more productive.
That’s why I’ve decided to try a digital detox. At first, I thought it would be impossible, but now I feel like I really need a break from my phone. My plan is to turn off notifications, avoid social media in the evening, and not use my phone before bed.
Instead, I want to spend more time doing things that make me feel relaxed and happy. For example, I could read a book, go for a walk, or meet my friends in person. I also hope this will help me sleep better and feel less anxious.
I’m a bit worried that I won’t be able to stick to my plan, but I think it’s worth trying. After all, I don’t want to feel controlled by my phone anymore.
