1. Beginning of the Lesson

1. Greeting

T:  Good morning, children!

Cl: Good morning, teacher!

T: How are you?

Cl: We are fine / Ok, good, thank you.

T: Are you ready for the lesson?

Cl: Yes, we are.

T: Please, turn face and smile each other.

2. Play with “Magic Cube”

T: I have got a “Magic Cube”. It has got six questions. You should throw it on the desk and ask and answer these questions.

3. Warming-Up.

T: First listen, then listen and repeat the rhyme.

Rhyme

Some people live in the country

Where  the houses are very small.

Some people live in the city

Where the houses are very tall.

But in the country where the houses are small,

The gardens are very big.

And in the city where the houses are tall,

There are no gardens at all.

- Read the rhyme one by one and then answer the question: Where would you like to live, in the city or in the country?

2. Working with “Word Cloud”

T: Look at the board.. Do you know, what is this. Yes, this is “Word Cloud”. Repeat after me the words.  And now, I will show the pictures. You have to say what is it. Then find and circle it in the word cloud.

3. Match the words with the pictures.

And now, I give you cards with letters (A and B). Take the cards.

 The students with letter A take your seats on the left and with letter B, on the right. We have got two groups.  I give you pictures and words. You should match the words with the pictures. And present your work on the blackboard. Let’s start!

I have got two boxes there is and there are. I give each of you two cards. You should make  one sentence  with there is and one there are and to put the cards into the right box.

Next task is to write the sentences on the blackboard, make general questions and short answers.

My Town

My name is Nick. I live in a small town. Our town is not very big. Not all the streets of our town are long and wide. But they are green in summer with a lot of trees and flowers. On Saturdays and Sundays there are a lot of people and cars in the streets. The people of our town do the shopping.

We can see a lot of people in the parks in our town. In spring and summer there are a lot of grannies and little children in our "Children's Park". Grannies usually sit or walk. And their little grandchildren like to play balls, ride small cars, run and jump. This park is the best place for our children.

In summer, when it is hot, the people of our town like to go to the river. It is not very long and wide, but it's warm and clean. There is a bridge across the river. Next to the river there is a large field. In summer it is yellow and very beautiful.

Some houses in our town are big and tall. But there are small houses too. And they have got small gardens with apple trees and flowers.

There are four schools in our town. My friend and I go to school number four. We are good friends and good pupils. In winter we like to skate in the park and ski in the field not far from the forest. We like our school and our town.

Look! I have got a Poster “My native village”. We started doing it in the previous [pri:vjәs] lesson. But you have to help me complete it.

First of all answer the questions:

- Is there a school in our village?(Yes, there is.)

- Is there a shop in our village?(Yes, there is.)

- Is there a church in our village? (Yes, there is.)

- Is there a club in our village? (Yes, there is.)

- How many bus stops are  in our village? (There are two bus stops in our village). You can see all these buildings in the middle of our poster “My native village”.

And now you should complete this poster  with photos of your homes. Go to the poster and glue photos of  your  homes on it. Great work.
