Мета: ознайомлення учнів з природою та погодою у Великобританії, формування вмінь аудіювання і писемного мовлення.

Good morning, dear children! I’m glad to see you! How are you? Do you like the day today? Do you want to play in English language?

ІІ Warming up (Розминка)

Today we’ll speak about the weather in Great Britain. What is your favourite season? What do you like to do in summer (winter, spring, autumn)? What month are in summer (winter, spring, autumn) do you know? Where do you like to travel in summer (winter, spring, autumn)? What do you wear in summer (winter, spring, autumn)?

Після перегляду відео, учитель задає запитання учням:

Look out of the window, children. What is the weather like today?

Після відповідей учнів та відпрацювання запитань і відповідей один у одного на тему «Погода», дітям пропонується поєднати малюнки та слова, пов’язані з темою (Додаток 1).

V Working a grammar (Робота з граматикою)

Учитель пропонує учням утворити від іменників прикметники з метою вживання їх у реченнях про погоду.

Add –y to the words and create adjectives about types of weather. Do you know the synonyms of these words? Choose them to every word.

Sun – sunny   rain – rainy   cloud – cloudy

Fog – foggy   snow – snowy  wind – windy

VII Summing up (Підсумок)

Учні складають лист своєму другові про улюблену пору року та погоду, розпочинаючи його зі слів:

та закінчуючи:

 Yours, ______

Замість слів про погоду, малюють сонечко, хмарки, дощ та ін.
