Тема: On Holiday. Past Simple. Revision.

Функції предмета:

навчальна: активізувати знання учнів з теми «On Holiday», удосконалити уявлення учнів про граматичне явище Past Simple (минулий простий час);

розвиваюча: розвивати творчий потенціал учнів, готовність до участі в іншомовному спілкуванні;

виховна: формувати освітню автономію учнів у навчальній діяльності, вміння та бажання раціонально використовувати своє дозвілля.

Інвентар: ЗМ, flashcards, картки з неправильними дієсловами, смужки кольорового паперу жовтого та синього кольорів, cut-outs (workbook ст. 89), комп’ютер, телевізор.

Очікувані результати: розуміння та постановка питань у Past Simple, складання заперечних та стверджувальних речень у Past Simple.

                                                Хід уроку

І. Greeting. Hello song.

   Teacher: How are you today?                                                                                      

   Pupils: (open answers).                                                                                                        

   Teacher: For our lesson you need attention, good mood and creativity. I have a secret message for you but to read it you have to do some tasks. And now it is time to start.                                                                                                                      

II. Warm-up activity.                                                                                                       

    Teacher: The topic of our lesson is “ On Holiday”. So let’s revise some word combinations. Look at the screen and name what we do when we are on holiday.

     Pupils: Take photos, swim, find pretty shells, pick flowers, play games, listen to music, watch TV, sail a boat, go windsurfing, buy postcards, go shopping, catch fish.

     Teacher: It was good. You remember the vocabulary. And now let’s revise irregular verbs.

      Режим роботи: Teacher – Class.

     Teacher: It’s time to come to the board and open one card.                                                       

III. Guessing game.                                                                                                            

      Правила гри: учні розкладують на партах набір карток «cut-outs» (workbook p. 89) із зображеннями дітей та словосполученнями по темі. Один учень

    загадує якусь людину, а решта групи відгадують хто це, ставлячи питання:         

    Is it a boy or a girl? (Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t)                                                                  

    Did he/she go to the beach? (Yes, he/she did. /No, he/she didn’t)                                   

    Хто відгадує, загадує наступну людину. Гра продовжується.

    Teacher: You were very active and did a good job so it’s time to open two cards.        

IV. Writing.                                                                                                                      

      Teacher: And now you are going to write about your holidays. In your exercise-books write what you did and what you didn’t do on holiday and then read your sentences to the class.

       Практикуємо граматичну структуру: I swam but I didn’t catch fish on my holiday.

Pupils: open answers.

Teacher: Your sentences were interesting, so let’s open one more card.

V. Physical activity. Walking, walking song.

 Teacher: Have some rest: sing a song and move to the music. 

VI. Group work. Game “Crosses and naughts”.

     Teacher: We are going to play a game. I’ve got stripes for you. Take out the one you like. Those who have blue stripes are the team of crosses, those who have yellow stripes are the team of naughts. The task is to make sentences with given verbs in the past.

         Практикуємо складання стверджувальних речень з неправильними дієсловами у Past Simple.

     Teacher: Good job! It’s time to open the next card.                                                  VII. Giving instructions for homework.

     Teacher: WB: Ex.1 p.73, write the missing verbs and copy the exercise into your         exercise books. 

VIII. Рефлексія.

      Pair work.

      Учні отримують картки з неправильними дієсловами у І формі.

      Teacher: Ask your partner to name/to write the Past Simple of  the following   verbs.  

Teacher: You did all the tasks which I’ve prepared for you and it’s time to open the last card and read the secret message on the board. The message is ” Make every day a cheerful day ”. Try to make every day a good day. Not only holidays are cool. Every day is special and great. Do good things, say something good, create, help each other, be kind, smile and every day  in your lives will be cheerful.

Тема: Food, please. Grammar: There isn’t/aren’t any… . Is/Are there any… ?

Функції предмета:

навчальна: закріпити лексику попередніх уроків та ознайомити учнів з новими      лексичними одиницями по темі; вчити учнів складати заперечні та питальні речення, використовуючи ГС: There isn’t/aren’t any… . Is/Are there any… ? та надавати короткі відповіді: Yes, there is./No, there isn’t. Yes, there are./No, there aren’t;

розвиваюча: розвивати вміння аналізувати навчальний матеріал та працювати за поданим зразком;

виховна: формувати вміння та бажання харчуватися раціонально, вживати їжу, корисну для здоров’я.

Інвентар: flashcards, ЗМ, картки з назвами їжі, набори карток з літерами, дитячі    малюнки «Холодильник», демонстраційна дошка, комп’ютер.

Очікувані результати: учні використовують у своєму мовленні тематичну    лексику вірно, відповідно до ситуації мовлення; продукують речення всіх типів із граматичною структурою: There is/There are.

                                       Хід уроку

І. Greeting.

  Teacher; Good morning, students! I’m glad to see you! I hope that you are OK     today so let’s start our lesson and sing a song “Hello, nice to see you everyone!”.

II. Vocabulary revision.

У кожного учня на парті є малюнок із зображенням певного продукту харчування та картка зі словом, що позначає назву їжі. Слова та малюнки не співпадають.

 Teacher: Today we will speak about food so let’s revise the vocabulary and match the words to the pictures. I have a picture of lettuce and who has a card with word ”lettuce”?

Учень, у якого картка зі словом ”lettuce” виходить до дошки та прикріплює напис до малюнку, потім прикріплює на дошку малюнок з назвою їжі, який був у нього на парті. Наступним виходить той, у кого картка з назвою цієї їжі і т. д. Працюємо з такою лексикою: onions, lettuce, chocolate, biscuits, flour, omelette, peas, pancake, tomatoes, cheese, carrot, banana, milk, pineapple, peppers, coconut, fish.

ІІІ. Warm-up activity.

 Teacher: Where do we usually keep food?

  Pupils: In the fridge.

  Teacher: Take a picture of your fridge and tell the class what is/are there in your       fridge?

   Практикуємо граматичні структури: There is some… . There are some … .

IV. Продукування заперечних речень.

      Teacher: Swap picture with your classmate and tell what’s not in his/her fridge.            Практикуємо граматичні структури: There isn’t any… . There aren’t any… .

V. Physical exercises.

 Teacher: Have some rest and move to the music. Руханка “Marshmallow dance”.

VI. Checking homework.

     Teacher: You have a lot of food in your fridges and now try to guess what’s in my fridge? For our today’s lesson you were supposed to be ready with questions so open your exercise books and ask your questions to me.

 Практикуємо граматичні структури: Is/Are there any … in your fridge?

VII. Vocabulary presentation.

      Режими роботи: Teacher – Class; Teacher – Pupil;

     Teacher: Let’s look into my fridge.

                    There is some jam.

                    There is some soup.

                    There is some butter.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

                    There are noodles.

                    There is some fried chicken.

                    There is a cheeseburger.

                    There is some garlic.

                    There is a crepe. 

VIII. Giving instructions for homework.

Teacher: WB: Ex.1 p. 50. Find the new words in the grid, circle them and write       under the pictures.

IX. Writing. Bingo game.

      Teacher: Write down ten food words from the word cloud, take pencils and circle the words which I name. Those who see they have circled all of the words, put up their hands and say “Bingo”. They are the winners.

X. Рефлексія.

 Вчитель викликає декількох учнів до дошки та роздає кожному по одній картці з літерою. Учні мають стати в такому порядку, щоб утворилося слово.

     Teacher: Stand in a proper order to make a word. (onion, jam, flour, pancake, coconut, lettuce, soup, biscuits)

     Teacher: Thank you for your work. You were diligent students. Let’s discuss what food is good for our health. We have to eat fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy products and cereals.
