Тема: Talking about likes and dislikes.

Функції предмета:

навчальна: повторити лексику по темі «Спорт»; утворення вищого та найвищого ступенів порівняння прикметників; граматичні структури:

            They like… He/She likes + V + ing;

            - Do you like +V + ing?

         - I like/hate/enjoy + V+ing because it’s boring/fun/dangerous/popular etc.;

 розвиваюча: розвивати вміння працювати за поданим зразком, використовувати вивчену лексику вірно, відповідно до ситуації мовлення;

 виховна: формувати  бажання вести здоровий спосіб життя, займатися спортом та відпочивати активно, прищеплювати вміння поважати думку інших.

Інвентар: ЗМ, flashcards, картки з питаннями, картки зі словами по темі «Спорт», таблиці з прикметниками, папір для нотаток, комп’ютер, телевізор.

Очікувані результати: продукування запитань типу: Do you enjoy +V+ing? та надання відповідей: I enjoy/hate/love +V+ing because it's funny/boring/exciting etc.; утворення вищого та найвищого ступенів порівняння прикметників.

І. Greeting. Hello song.

II. Warming up.

   Teacher: Take smileys out of my box and tell the class how you are today.

    Учні виймають з коробки смайлики та складають речення про те, який у них сьогодні настрій.

    ГС: I’m happy/OK/Good/Fine/Great/Tip-top/Pretty good/Well/Fantastic/Super/All right/Very well/Perfect today!

III. Vocabulary revision.

    Teacher: Look at the pictures of sport activities on the board and match the words to the pictures. Tell the class what these people like doing.

   Учні розглядають зображення назв видів спорту на дошці та з,єднують малюнки зі словами. До кожного малюнку складаємо речення:

    She/he likes+V+ing.

    They like+V+ing.

Повторюємо лексику: cycling, sailing, skiing, swimming, diving, running, playing tennis/ice hockey/baseball/cricket/football/volleyball.

IV. Asking questions. Вчитель роздає учням папір для нотаток, на якому діти пишуть свої імена та повертають вчителю. Потім кожен учень отримує запитання, яке він повинен задати тому, чиє ім’я буде на папірці, отриманому від вчителя.

   Teacher: Write your names on the pieces of paper and give them back to me. Choose and take out a question  and  ask it to the person whose name is on the paper given by a teacher.

   P1: Do you like playing volleyball?

   P2: I enjoy playing volleyball because it’s exciting.

V. Physical activity. Dance or freeze song.

VI. Listening.

     Teacher: Listen to the dialogue and point to the correct picture in your SB: Ex.2 p.83,  write which are the most dangerous and the most popular sports in the world.

Boy 1: Hello, Tom! How are you?

Boy 2: I’m fine, thanks. What are you doing?

Boy 1: I’m doing a quiz that I found in my school newspaper. It’s about sports in different countries.

Boy 2: Wow! That’s fun!

Boy 1: Yes, it is. Do you want to help?

Boy 2: OK!

Boy 1: So, which is the most dangerous sport in the world?

Boy 2: Well, one of the most dangerous sports in the world is ice hockey. Players always wear their helmets.

Boy 1:  Hmmm… OK. Which is the most popular sport in Australia?

Boy 2: Oh, I know. Cricket is one of the most popular sports in Australia. I like playing cricket. It’s exciting.

Boy 1: I hate playing cricket. I think it’s hard. OK, so which is one of the most popular sports in Brazil?

Boy 2: Oh, that’s easy. It’s volleyball. There are two teams in a volleyball game. They can hit the ball with their hands and they can kick it too.

Boy 1: Well, I love playing volleyball because it’s fun. What’s your favourite sport, Tom?

Boy 2: Hmmm…. My favourite sport is swimming. I love the water and I enjoy swimming!

VII.  Giving instructions for homework.

     Teacher: WB: p.60; Read the texts about football and American football, then choose and tick the correct sentences.

     Teacher: We are going to play a game. Let’s divide  into  two teams. The task is to make sentences with given adjectives.
