Мета: Закріпити вживання лексичного матеріалу з теми «Shopping»; формувати здатність та го­товність учнів здійснювати безпосереднє спілкування на уроці та вести діа­лог на задану тему; навчати учнів читання з метою повного розуміння зміс­ту прочитаного, розвивати навички учнів в аудіюванні,сприяти розвитку пам'яті, уваги, логічного мислення,формувати в учнів культуру спілку­вання; виховувати ввічливість.

Обладнання уроку. Підручник, проектор, ноутбук, картки із завданнями, відео (мультфільм).

2.Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

 T: Today we continue to speak about one of the important topic in our life. We are going to find out some information about the main items of our today`s theme. During the lesson you will practise in speaking, reading, listening and writing. For our today`s lesson you have been divided into 3 groups. So, don`t forget that should work as a team, help each other.

Т: But what are we going to speak about? I have a riddle for you to help you organize yourselves. Listen and think.

• Usually two or more people take part in this process.
• We do it in a special place.
• We do it very often.
• Usually women like to do it, men don’t like.
• We can’t do it without money.

T. –So, children, what are we going to speak about?

Ps: Today we are going to speak about shops and shopping in London.

T. So, kids, what kinds of shops do you know?  Try to remember and fill in the MIND-MAP. (Group work – кожна група заповнює карту назвами магазинів: чим більше, тим краще)

Possible answers: sport goods, men’s wear, newsagent’s, baker’s, supermarket, dairy, grocer’s, greengrocer’s, butcher’s, household items, fishmonger’s, confectionery, bookstore, stationer’s, electric appliance shop, furniture shop, hardware store, jewelry store, footwear, cosmetic shop, chemist’s, department store, market, toy store, flower’s.

3.Гра “Right shop”

T. Choose the right shop where you can buy these things. You have to match goods with the shops.  (Group work – кожна група отримує по 2 карточки з назвами магазинів та поєднує назви магазинів з предметами, які в них можна придбати).

1) baker’s shop              a) tables, chairs, wardrobes, bookcases

2) butcher’s                   b) boots, shoes, sandals, flip-flops

3) grocer’s shoр             c) candies, cookies, chocolate, cakes

P1. There are many kinds of shops such as baker’s, grocer’s, greengrocer’s, ready-made clothes shop, sport goods shop, etc. We can also mention department stores, supermarkets and markets.
