Тема уроку: Приготування їжі
Мета уроку:
Методична: впровадження методики проведення уроку з використанням інформаційних джерел та вирішуванням ситуаційних завдань.
Навчальна: формування практичних вмінь та навичок щодо використання лексики заняття на практиці, спілкування в межах теми, активізування навичок мовленнєвої діяльності, використання Інтернет ресурсів та вирішуванням ситуаційних завдань.
Розвиваюча: розвиток свідомого оформлення висловлювань, здібностей логічного викладання думок, сприяння розвитку мовленнєвої реакції, уяви та культури спілкування, сприяння підвищенню світогляду.
Виховна: виховання культуру інтелектуальної праці, досягнення ситуації успіху кожного учасника творчого процесу та його максимальної самореалізації.
Методичне забезпечення: підручник з англійської мови для 11 класу (автор В. Буренко, рівень стандарту), ноутбук, проектор, роздавальні картки.
Хід уроку
I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення
1) Привітання
T: Good morning dear students! I’m glad to see you. Let’s start our lesson. I hope you’ll be creative and active during our today’s lesson.
2) Повідомлення теми та мети уроку
T: Today we’re going to speak about food for life and methods of preparing food. We’ll get to know and revise some words related to the topic, watch the video of an interesting recipe.

T: Read these proverbs. Write the phonetic symbols for the letters in bold type and pronounce them correctly.
Good health is about wealth. Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. The healthier we are, the better we feel. |

T: What are the Ukrainian equivalents of these proverbs? Discuss them. Do you agree with them? Give your reasons why you think so. Is healthy food really so important for our life? Does our happiness depend on the food we eat?

T: Let’s check your homework. As we are going to begin studying the new topic under the name “Food”, you had to do ex. 2 on page 22. Discuss and complete the mind map. Add some more words and expressions which have not been mentioned in the list given in the book. Share your ideas on food for health.
T: Let’s make Ex. 2, p. 22. Work in groups. Complete the table and present the results of your work to the classmates.
T: Match the ways of preparing food with the items on the right. Some may have more than answer. What other foods can be prepared in these ways?
