Освітня : 

формування предметних компетентностей: систематизація лексичного матеріалу; створення умов для вдосконалення мовленнєвої компетенції здобувачів освіти; спонукання здобувачів освіти до мовної здогадки та мовленнєвої реакції; вдосконалення комунікативних навичок говоріння та письма; формування соціолінгвістичної компетенції; удосконалення техніки читання і вміння перекладати англомовні тексти, формування навичок сприйняття тексту на слух.

Розвиваюча :  формування ключових компетентностей: сприяння розвитку в учнів мовленнєвих здібностей використання англійської мови та створення умов для розвитку ключової компетентності (спілкуватися іноземною мовою). 

Виховна:  формування громадянських компетентностей спонукання до зацікавленості здобувачів освіти у розширенні своїх знань стосовно весняних фестивалів і свят в різних країнах світу; володіння іноземною мовою як засобом міжкультурної комунікації; засвоєння культурних і духовних цінностей інших народів, естетичному і морально-етичному розвиткові особистості; розуміння своїх психологічних особливостей через використання психолого-аналітичного тесту. Цілі навчання: 

-здобувач освіти засвоїть інформацію про весняні фестивалі і свята в різних країнах світу, сформує соціолінгвістичної компетентність;

-   здобувач освіти вмітиме використовувати лексичні та граматичні одиниці у відповідному діалогічному та монологічному мовленні;

-   здобувач освіти удосконалить техніку читання і вміння перекладати англомовні тексти, сформовує навички сприйняття тексту на слух;

-   здобувач освіти умітиме спілкуватися іноземною мовою, використовуючи певні лексичні одиниці відповідно до вивченої теми.

Методи та прийоми:  

-   вербальний: виклад інформації; 

-   наочний: робота з роздатковим матеріалом;  - репродуктивний: активізація опорних знань. Інтерактивні форми та методи: 

-   робота в парах та групах; 

-   метод «Мозковий штурм», асоціативна гра;

-   метод заохочення (накопичення балів);

-   використання інформаційних та цифрових технологій: Kahoot, Learning Apps, Wordwall, Jamboard, Youtube;

-   гейміфікація.

Teacher: Good morning, pupils! I’m very glad to see you here! Let’s begin our lesson. At the beginning answer my questions.

Teacher: Today, we're going to have an exciting journey to explore the wonders of spring through our senses. Imagine we're in a beautiful garden, surrounded by blooming flowers and buzzing bees. Spring comes and nature awakens from its winter sleep. The ground is covered with fresh green grass and the first spring flowers. Nature painting the fields and gardens with bright colors like a giant rainbow and amazing smell of flowers is in the air. There are new leaves and blossoms on the trees. The birds begin to sing and build their nests. The air is fresh and the sun shines brightly. The days are warm and everything is full of life and joy. Everybody feels younger and stronger. So, are you ready to explore the beauty of spring with me? Let's open our eyes, ears, noses, mouths, and hearts to all the amazing things that this magical season has to offer!

EXPRESSION OF THE EMOTIONS”.  Let's get started! I’m going to divide you into 2 teams, the first one is “Spring birds” and the second one is “Colourful flowers”. You have emblems for each team. We’re going to have 6 rounds (6 different activities), between them we’ll have the tasks with rebuses. These are the additional points. During our lesson you’ll show your knowledge of art and nature science and how you understand it, also we’ll check your understanding of adjectives hidden in “Flower Personality Test”, also you’ll watch a video from Youtube “Spring Festivals Around the World” and get some interesting information about spring holidays, festivals, parades and traditions in different countries, after that you’ll have very engaging quiz, then you’ll have crossword. Let’s start with first one:

Cimburijada (Festival of Scrambled Eggs)

Eggs, eggs and more eggs - every year, at the crack of dawn (світанок), people from the Bosnian town of Zenica gather by the Bosna River to celebrate the first day of spring. Known as Ciumburijada, or “Festival of Scrambled Eggs,” the event begins with the preparation of a traditional breakfast - or in this case, a super-sized bowl of eggs for the masses.

Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake

Competitors race down (гонка вниз) a steep hill (крутий пагорб) - known as

Cooper’s Hill, near Gloucester, England - as they vie |vaɪ| (змагатися) for the day’s ultimate prize (головний приз дня): a round of Double Gloucester cheese. Holla Mohalla

One day after the Hindu festival of Holi, another big spring celebration occurs: Holla Mohalla. During this 3-day Sikh festival, celebrants showcase their martial |ˈmɑːrʃl| skills (показують їхні бойові навички) in mock (|mɑːk|) fights (thus, the meaning of the holiday’s name) - and the art of fire breathing, like here on a street in the northwest Indian state of Punjab. Las Fallas

Whimsical |ˈwɪmzɪkl| characters (химерні персонажі), known as fallas (невдачі), are a familiar sight during this annual 5-day celebration. The origin of one of

Spain’s most rowdy |ˈraʊdi| (шумий) holidays is uncertain (невизначене); some say Las Fallas began in the Middle Ages, when artisans (ремісники) burned pieces of wood they’d saved during the winter in celebration of the spring equinox. Over time, under the Catholic Church’s influence, the holiday has developed into a celebration to commemorate |kəˈmeməreɪt| (вшанування пам’яті) Saint Joseph.

Nowruz

Now it is widely referred to as the Persian New Year, this annual festival also marks the first day of spring - which is celebrated on the day of the astronomical Northward |ˈnɔːrθwərd| equinox (usually around March 21). Nowruz is celebrated throughout

Central Asia and here, in Kyrgyzstan’s capital city of Bishek.

Passover 

One of the most widely observed Jewish holidays, Passover commemorates the story of the ancient Israelites’ deliverance from slavery (визволення з рабства) in Egypt - items on this “seder plate” showcase symbolic foods related to the story. The weeklong holiday always falls during the spring season, based on a biblical commandment |kəˈmændmənt| заповідь: “Guard the month of spring, and make then the Passover offering.” (“Стережи весняний місяць і принеси пасхальну жертву”) Songkran Water Festival

Known as the Water Festival by visitors, this annual festival in Thailand falls shortly after the spring equinox. Songkran (based on a Sanskrit word for “astrological passage (астрологічний перехід)”) is celebrated in the country as the traditional New Year’s Day. Along with visiting elders and going to a Buddhist monastery, festivities include throwing of water – in this case, with a little help from an elephant!

Spring Equinox in Teotihuacán

Every year, on the 20th or 21st of March, thousands of people gather at this enormous, pre-Hispanic archeological site, roughly |ˈrʌfli| (приблизно) 30 miles northeast of Mexico City, to celebrate the spring equinox. Between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., many celebrants climb the 360 steps to the top of Pyramid of the Sun, the largest structure in the area, to get closer to portals of energy.

Walpurgis Night

Named after the English missionary Saint Walpurga, this traditional spring festival is celebrated across Central and Northern Europe - exactly 6 months after All Hallows’ Eve. Among the places that hold celebrations (which include dancing and bonfires

|ˈbɑːnˌfaɪərz| (багаття)) is the open-air museum of Skansen in Stockholm, pictured here.

White House Easter Egg Roll

President Obama gathers with schoolchildren on the White House lawn for the annual Easter Egg Roll. Held on Easter Monday, the yearly tradition is commonly believed to have started in 1814, organized by First Lady Dolley Madison.
