Тема: Природа і навколишнє середовище.

Тема уроку: Моє захоплення.  

Тип уроку: Формування навичок сприйняття на слух, зорового сприйняття та усної взаємодії.

Цілі вчителя: формувати навички сприйняття на слух, зорового сприйняття та усної взаємодії по темі «Природа і навколишнє середовище», практикувати вживання ступенів порівняння прикметників, вчити розуміти основний зміст аудіотексту; розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію учнів, розвивати здатність мовного самоконтролю, увагу, пам'ять, логічне мислення та культуру спілкування учнів;
виховувати самостійність, старанність.

Очікування учнів: розпізнавати лексику на рівні фраз та тексту, використовувати її у письмі та мовленні, висловлюватися по темі, розповідати про події в минулому.

Обладнання:   аудіозапис, презентація Power Point, малюнки та постери до теми, роздатковий матеріал.                  

 

Хід уроку:

 

Організація класу.

 

1. Привітання.

• Good afternoon, pupils!

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. (PowerPoint Presentation. Slide 1-3.)

T: -. Today we’re going to speak about the people’s heroes. You will listen to three short stories, read them, practice your speaking and writing skills. By the end of the lesson you will be able to operate the vocabulary on our topic and some new words, speak about people’s heroes and form the degrees of comparison.

Т: - Look at the screen and read about some Ukrainian champions.

Ss: - Oleksii Novikov was the World’s Strongest Man in 2019.

• Dariia Bilodid was   the youngest World’s Judo Champion in 2019.

She was 17 years old.

• Ihor Vovkovynskii was a Ukrainian-American student and the tallest living person in the USA.  He was about 234 cm tall.
• Kateryna Kozak was 117 years old and she was the oldest woman in Ukraine.

Pre-listening.

T: - Open your Student’s Books to page 76 and have a look at the pictures.

• What do you see in the pictures?
• What is the text going to be about?

 

While-listening.

T: - Now listen and point to the corresponding pictures of the story.

 

Post-listening.

T: - Do the task on the cards. Fill in the table, put a tick under the children’s names. (PowerPoint Presentation. Slide 6 .)

T: - I see you are tired a bit. Let’s have a rest and move (your eyes) a little.

T: - And now open your workbooks to page 54 and do exercise 2.

Look, read and complete. Use the comparative and the superlative forms.
