Про матеріал

Мета уроку: увести та практикувати у вживанні лексику до теми "Їжа\ Food", практикувати учнів у використанні лексики в усній взаємодії.

У ході проведення уроку використовувалися матеріали з досвіду роботи, матеріали з інтернету, пісні, флешкартки по темі "Їжа," мультимедійний додаток до підручника "Smiling Sam".

OBJECTIVES:

 to introduce new vocabulary

 to practice the previous vocabulary

 to introduce and practice structures

VOCABULARY:

bread, toast, sandwich, cheese, jam, butter, banana, apple

MATERIALS:

PB, PB Audio, AB, MP, flashcards , poster , pencils of different colours,

OUTCOMES:

By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to point to and name food in English

                                              

                                                 LESSON PLAN

  1.                     Greeting. Hello, everyone. How are you? Come here.  Let’s sing a song  and start our lesson.     How are you ( without words …. 0.40)
  • Come here. Stand in a circle. Clap your hands and say Hallo)
  • Let’s play  Electric Power Game. Ready. Steady. Go. ( Yes. Its great)

Sing:    - How are you?  How are you?

  • What is your name?  What is your name?
  • How old are you?   How old are you?

 

T:   - I want to ask you questions: (  with a ball)

- What is your name? How old are you?   How are you? 

T:   Let’s play Mingle…Mingle Game  ( Join in pairs. ) Mingle. What is your name? Mingle. How old are you? Mingle How are you? 

  1.                 WARMING UP.

T: Stand in a circle . Listen and do.

     Say: -Follow Follow Follow me           Hands up  hands down

    - Follow Follow Follow me                 Hands on hips Sit down

T:   - And now I want you to speak.    But first shake your  hands 

Shake, shake, shake  . Freeze.   ( two pairs act out dialogues)

T: OK!  Let’s sing a song “Hallo….let’s shake hands. It’s English time again         ….. Sit down                                     { 1.44 min}

 

PRESENTATION

T:  It’s time to speak about Food.  Are you hungry? Smell it great?

T: Look, listen and repeat.

  (Flashcards)- pizza, pudding, hot-dogs, juice

-Do you like pizza? So, let’s sing a song  . (video and without music)

PRACTICE

T: - What’s this ? ( hidden Flashcard)   Ps – It’s a ….

 T: Let’s play  Games

  1.                   Catch the word.  ( pictures on the  board)  (flystrikes)
  2.                   Take a picture. Name it. Stand in front.  OK

Sit down if you have this Food!      ( bread,  toast,  jam….)

 3)   A Game  “Chain”    Ps ask each other -  Do you like ….? ( Yes, I do. No, I don’t).

T: Look at your books!   Look here.  Page 8_2   Task   3

Listen and find.   

-  Audio  Unit 7 Lesson   2-3  and point to  each character and his/her box with food .

Vic: I’ve got toasts and jam.           Ben: I’ve got a sandwich and a banana.

Liz: I’ve got an apple and cheese.   Nick: I’ve got bread and butter.

 

  1.  Play the  Audio again making pauses for Ps to repeat.

FOUR Ps  come to the front of the class.  I give them….

  1.   flashcard (toasts and jam) to P1,
  2. flashcard   (an apple and cheese) to P2,
  3. flashcard  (a sandwich and a banana) to P3
  4.  flashcard  (bread and butter) to P4.

Play the audio making pauses and let Ps to act out  the dialogue showing the flashcards they have.

 

ENDING

AB p. 61, t.2

 T:   Open  your  ABs on page 61.  Look! We are going to draw  a line between a child and food and say, e.g. ‘Liz has got an apple.’

Give them a minute to draw the lines.

Ask a P to come to the front of the class and holding up his/her AB tell Ps what food children in his/her  AB have got.

ABC Revision T:

( Let’s learn  a new song         “ Who took the cookie “)  - ?

ABC Revision

 Review the lower case and capitals of letters ‘a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, I’. Write the lower case letters on the board. Draw writing lines under each one.

Call a P to the front. Ask him/her to write the capital letter for lower case letter ‘a’ on the writing lines under it.

Repeat with different Ps writing the other capital letters.
