Subject Matter: Adjectives
Objectives:
-to revise the vocabulary on the topic;
- to develop listening and speaking skills;
-to practice the usage of the possessive adjectives;
- to encourage students to work in pairs;
Equipment: a CD, pictures, handouts.
Procedure:
Teacher: Good morning, dear students. At the beginning of our lesson I want you to practice the pronunciation of the sound [t] and to read the tongue twister.
MOTIVATION
Tiny teacher takes
twenty-two seconds
to tie two tired tigers
to two tall trees.
Teacher: Let’s revise the words which you’ve learnt earlier. Label the pictures with the adjectives.
BRAINSTORMING
Teacher: All these words are adjectives. Our next activity is brainstorming. Name other adjectives as quickly as possible

Teacher: As I can see you know the vocabulary well. And now I want you to watch the cartoon about fruits and vegetables.
Teacher: Let’s have fun and watch the cartoon about fruit and vegetables. Before watching pay attention to the following words:

Who’s the best?
Carrot: Look at me! I’m long and slim. I’m orange. Look at my beautiful green hair .I’m the best!
Banana: Nonsense! Look at me! I’m long and yellow. I am very sweet. Look at my perfect body. I’m the best!
Orange: Nonsense! Look at me! I’m round and very attractive. My skin is orange and very smooth. I’m the best!
Tomato: Nonsense! Look at me! I’m the best! I’m red and very handsome . My body is just perfect.
Coconut: Nonsense! Look at me! I have brown skin and I’m white inside. There’s lots of sweet milk in me! I’m the best! What about you small bean? You are all white. You are so ugly!
Bean: I’m just a very small bean. But I’m very happy!
Mum: Look, Jeremy! What a beautiful small bean! Let’s put it into water.

Boy: Wow! What a beautiful green plant!
