Aim: Revising previously taught vocabulary and language structures on topics ‘School’, ‘Animals’, ‘Clothes’, ‘Food’, ‘First people’. Practising Present Simple 1st and 3rd person singular, Present Continuous, Past Simple irregular verbs, Future ‘going to’. Developing integrated skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking). Promoting interest in the culture.
SWBAT identify and name animals/ school things and objects/ clothes; use target vocabulary and grammar in talking about routine/ future plans/ past events; work in groups; solve tasks.

Procedure
1. Greetings
T: Good morning, children. Welcome to our Quiz ‘The Cleverest.
2. Forming groups. HO1
T: First, lets split into two groups: ‘Smart Zebras’, ‘Wise Owls’.
T: Each group should choose a captain. Each correct task – one point.

9. Chinese whispers. HO6
T: You should read and whisper a sentence into the next student’s ear in your row until the whisper gets to the last student in the row. The last student in the row has to write down and to read the sentence. The team that gets the correct sentence scores a point.

T: We are going to do another interesting activity. It is called ‘Running dictation’.
T: I’m going to choose a writer in each team, a student who will write the text. The others are runners. A runner runs to the text, reads it and then runs back to tell a writer. One runner can read only one sentence, but he or she can run to the text as many times as needed. The winner is the team that reads the text first.
T: Group #1, your text is on the door. Group #2, your text is on the wall next to the bookcase.
T: Get. Set. Go!
