Procedure
First of all I’d like to ask you whether you had breakfast today?
Raise your hands who ate e.g. eggs, sandwiches, porridge, nothing for breakfast.
Was it your perfect breakfast?
Look at the picture and tell what you see.
In pairs discuss what would you prefer to have for breakfast?
Share your ideas with the class.
So, can you tell me the theme of our lesson?
Yes, it’s “Food”
Look at the pictures and tell which lunches you like best?
Check that students know/understand all the words e.g. snack (ask to name some snacks), fizzy drinks (ask to name some fizzy drinks), chicken (ask what meals may contain chicken, what other kinds of meat they know) etc.
