Розробка заняття до теми 

„Зовнішність людини"

(для  4 класу)

Тема: Зовнішність людини.

Мета: Активізувати вживання вивченої лексики в усному мовленні. Практикувати учнів в аудіюванні. Удосконалювати навички письма та читання. Розвивати навички непідготовленого діалогічного та монологічного мовлення. Розвивати логічне мислення та творчу уяву.

Обладнання: Картинки казкових персонажів, таблиці з діалогами, вірш, аудіо запис.

Хід заняття

1. Організаційний момент. Бесіда з черговими.

T. - Dear pupils! As we study the topic "Appearance" I'd like to hear in the report of a pupil on duty his own description. All the rest should be attentive to ask questions about what haven't been said by the pupil on duty.

2. Постановка завдань. Створення ситуації спілкування.

Т. - Today we'll revise lexical and grammar material necessary for speaking about yourselves; we'll ask and answer the questions, describe pictures, read, translate and retell the text. As you see we are going to work hard. I wish you were active and showed your best.

3. Перевірка засвоєння лексики до теми „Зовнішність" у вигляді гри
„Асоціації"".

Т. - We'll start with checking up your knowledge of the lexical material. What associates in your mind with the word "Appearance"? You have to repeat the previous word and then say your associating word,

e.g. P1: Appearance - cheeks.

P2: Cheeks – rosy

P3: Rosy-ribbon.

P4: Ribbon – hair

Р5: Hair-fair...

4. Введення лексичних структур. Відпрацювання їх вживання в мовленні.
Т.- Now we'll get acquainted with new constructions and have a practice in
using them in our speech. Have a look at the blackboard and read.

   What do you look like? –I’m a tall, fair-haired girl. Whom do you look like? -I look like my father.

      T. - Ask your deskmates what he (she) looks like and whom he (she) looks like.       (робота в парах)

    Т. - Now listen to the poem on the tape and try to learn it by heart.

Everybody says

 Everybody says I look like my mother,

Everybody says I look like Aunt Bee,

 Everybody says I look like my father,

 But I want to look like me.

5. Робота над текстом.

Т. - We'll work with your textbooks. Open your books on page 30, Exercise 36. One of you will read the text choosing the correct word from the brackets, another will translate the text and all the rest think over the questions to the text. When we'll have done it someone will retell the whole text.

6. Аудіювання та опис казкових персонажів.

Т. - Do you like fairy-tales? Do you know their characters? I'm sure you do. Let's see who the best expert in fairy-tales is. I'll read the description of a famous fairy-tales' character and he who'll have recognized it should raise his hand. Be attentive.

"His face is round. His eyes are blue. He has a very long nose. He has a father but he has no mother."                 (Buratino)

 "He is little. He has big eyes and very big ears. He is good. Children like him. He has a friend - Crocodile."         (Cheburashka)

 "She has a round face, a small nose and small ears. She has blue eyes and long blue hair. She is very nice."                 (Malvina)

"The girl has a mother and a grandmother. Her grandmother lives in a little house in the forest. The girl takes some milk and bread and goes to her Granny."

"It has four legs. It has big red boots on its legs and a big hat on its head."

T. - Now look at the pictures of these characters and try to describe them yourselves.

7. Практикування у діалогічному мовленні.

Т. - Now imagine that you are speaking over the telephone with the pen-friend you've never seen. You are arranging to meet with him (her). You have to fill the omissions and act the dialog.

  • Hello, are you ...?
  • Yes, I am. And who are you?
  • I am .... I am your pen-friend. I am in your village. I want to see you.
  • I want to see you too. What do you look like?
  • .... And what do you look like?
  • What have you on?
  • .... And what have you on?
  • I am in the centre of the village near the Village Soviet.
  • All right.

8. Розвиток монологічного мовлення учнів. Опис дівчинки по малюнку.
Т. - То finish our work we'll play a game "Chain". Everybody should say a
sentence about the girl in the picture, so you'll make a full description of this
girl.

e.g. PI - This is a girl.

P2 - This is a girl. Her name is Judi.

P3 - This is a girl. Her name is Judi. She is a pupil of the 4th form.

P4 - This is a girl. Her name is Judi. She is a pupil of the 4th form.

Judi is a good pupil and a nice girl.

 P5 - This is a girl. Her name is Judi. She is a pupil of the 4th form.

Judi is a good pupil and a nice girl. Her face is round....

9. Підбиття підсумків заняття. Оцінювання. Домашнє завдання.

Т. - Let's try to recollect what you have done at this lesson. Have you learned much? Where can you use your knowledge of this topic? Now we'll together mark each other.

Your hometask is to take a photo of any relative and describe him or her in written form and orally. Thank you for your work. See you at our next lesson.
