Виховний захід спрямований на формування в учнів доброзичливого ставлення до навколишнього світу та своїх однокласників, сприяння створенню радісного настрою і позитивної мотивації до вивчення англійської мови та здійснення прихованого контролю розвитку мовленнєвих умінь учнів.

Виховний захід з англійської мови «Meet the Trolls»

Практична мета:

активізувати засвоєний учнями лексичний та граматичний матеріал в усному мовленні в межах заданих тем: «Знайомство. Привітання»,

« Кольори», «Числівники від 1 до 10», «Сім’я», « Шкільне приладдя»,

« Алфавіт» ;

здійснити прихований контроль розвитку мовленнєвих умінь учнів.

Розвивальна:

сприяти розвитку допитливості та мислення;
розвивати комунікативні уміння і навички учнів;
розвивати навички групової самоорганізації учнів.

Виховна:

виховувати в учнів прагнення допомагати тим, хто цього потребує;
виховувати почуття співпереживання та доброзичливості;
виховувати кмітливість та старанність ;
виховувати вміння працювати в групах;
сприяти створенню радісного настрою і позитивної мотивації до вивчення англійської мови.

Очікувальні результати:

в кінці заходу учні згадують вивчений матеріал та мають знання про добро та взаємодопомогу як норму життя.

Форми і методи роботи: бесіда, фронтальна, парна, групова робота.

Обладнання: мультимедійний комплекс, роздатковий матеріал, іграшка, малюнки героїв, презентація, відеозапис.

Перебіг заходу

І. Привітання. Організаційний момент.

T: Good afternoon, dear children!

P: Good afternoon, dear teacher!

T: How are you getting on? I hope, you are OK.

ІІ. Вступна частина.

T: Today we have an educational event “Meet the Trolls”. We’ll speak about kindness and do some interesting tasks. But firstly, let’s try and remember the stories we listened to and acted out in our lessons.

ІІІ. Основна частина.

3.1. Повторення вивченого матеріалу.

Do we like listening to the stories in our lessons? Of course, we do!

Have a look at the screen, please! This is the story “Alice in Wonderland” (Smart Junior 1 p. 8) In this story we counted the soldiers. Let’s count them once more.

P: One, two, three, four, five.

T: How did Alice introduce herself? Hello, I am Alice! I am a girl. I am six.

Can we introduce ourselves, dear friends? Of course, we can! Let’s do it right now!

P 1, P2, P3…: - Hello! I am…I am a girl/ boy. I am six/ seven.

T: Well done, dear friends!

This is one more story “The Big Race” (Smart Junior 1 pp. 40-41). Have a look!

Let’s name the characters of the story. This is the rabbit. This is the turtle. They are having a running race.

These are the members of their families. Let’s name them.

P1, 2, 3…This is the rabbit’s mother (father/ brother/grandmother/ grandfather). This is the turtle’s mother (father/ sister/ brother).

T: The rabbit made fun of the turtle. He thought that the turtle was too slow. Nevertheless, the turtle won the race. The value of this story is “Never make fun of other people”. Is it good or bad to make fun of others? Why? (P’s answers).

T: Yesterday we acted out the story “Happy Friends” (Smart Junior 1 pp. 54-55).

In the story the elephant Ellie helped the crocodile to fish. The value of the story is “Help your friends”.

Do you help your friends, dear pupils? How do you help your friends?

P1, 2, 3…answers.

3.2. Перегляд історії.

T: Now, we’ll watch a story about trolls. In this story there are many happy and funny trolls and one angry Bergen. The angry Bergen captures the trolls.

Pupils watch a short video (a three-minute excerpt from the American animated musical comedy film Trolls 2016)

T: So, King Peppy, Creek, Cooper and Biggie are captured (the teacher puts the pictures of the characters into a large Bergen’s purse). Dear pupils, let’s help Princess Poppy release her friends!

3.3. Виконання завдань.

Task 1: Firstly, we’ll release Poppy’s father King Peppy. He is very kind. He wants us to reunite mothers with their babies.

Two groups of pupils match the uppercase letters with the lowercase letters.

King Peppy is put out of the purse.

Task 2: T: Secondly, we’ll release Creek and Cooper. These are their school bags and different objects (picture of a computer, a desk, an apple, a book, a pen, a pencil, a rubber, a ruler). Let’s help the trolls put the proper school objects into their bags.

Pupils choose and put the objects into the school bags and name them:

It is a book. It is a pen. It is a pencil. It is a rubber. It is a ruler.

Creek and Cooper are put out of the purse.

Task 3: T: Finally, we’ll release Biggie. Our task is to try and remember the colours we’ve learnt and colour the letters on the colouring paper. Letter T is orange, letter R is green, letter O is yellow, letters LL are red and letter S is blue.
