Visiting Famous Places in Ukraine
Last spring, our class went on a trip around Ukraine. We visited many famous places and historical landmarks. Everyone was excited, and the weather was perfect.
Our first stop was in Kyiv. While we were walking along Khreshchatyk Street, our teacher was telling us stories about the city. We saw the Independence Monument and took lots of pictures.
Next, we travelled to Lviv. It was raining, but we still explored the beautiful old town. While some students were buying souvenirs, others were taking photos near the Opera House. I was drinking hot chocolate in a cozy café.
After that, we went to Kamianets-Podilskyi. The ancient fortress looked amazing! While we were crossing the old bridge, the sun was shining, and birds were flying above us.
Then we visited Odesa. The sea was calm, and people were walking along the beach. While we were listening to a guide, we learned about the famous Potemkin Stairs. They were built a long time ago and are now a symbol of the city.
Finally, we stopped in Kharkiv. We went to Gorky Park, where children were riding the Ferris wheel. My friends and I were laughing and having a great time.
That school trip was unforgettable. We learned a lot about Ukrainian history and culture, and we had fun at the same time!
