При вивченні нової лексики часто використовую завдання, в якому учні повинні поєднати лексеми з їхніми визначеннями. Навіть не розуміючи цілого визначення, діти працюють з деталями й його окремими словами, вчаться шукати ті ключові відомі їм лексеми, які вказують на загальне значення речення. Тим самим розвивають свої логіку і критичне мислення.
