An intellectual game. What? Where? When?

Rules_____________________ for places_____________________ for things_____________________ for times. Where. What. When

You should divide all students into three croups. The first team’s name is “WHAT”, the second team’s name is “WHERE” and the last one “WHEN. ” Next printed or written on a small sheet of paper names of the teams should be hidden under the alphabet’s flashcards. Then each student have to choose only one of given cards and find out to what team he/she belongs. The next step is to help students to be in a correct team. Each team have to choose the captain and get a sheet of paper for answers. All game is divided into four part. During the game for each question, the time limit is 30 seconds or one minute. If the team one by one answers the question correctly, they earn a point. The winner is the team which gets maximum points.

ROUND 1 FIRS OF ALL STUDENTS WOULD SEE A PICTURE. THEY HAVE ONLY 30 SECONDS FOR EACH PICTURE. FOR EACH PICTURE WRITE ONLY ONE WORD: WHAT, WHERE OR WHEN. THEN DON’T FORGET TO NUMBER THE PICTURE AND THEN WRITE THE WORD.

ROUND 2 Each team gets sample and should answer for the questions as quickly as it’s possible. Time limit is 10 minuts. The sample is taken from the internet sourse: Wh Questions Worksheet worksheet. This team which has correct answers for all questions is the winner.

ROUND3 This round is easier then previous. Students have to fill in only words: What Where or When. For this round time limit is only 5 minutes.

Complete the sentences using “what”, “where”, “when”._______ are you doing?_______ is your mother’s birthday?_______ do you want to play on Monday?_______ is the nearest bus stop?_______ is the best restaurant in the town?_______is Alex’s flight?_______ does your mother cook an apple pie?_______ is the ball?_______ you father come back home?_______ is your favourite food?

ROUND 4 Each team has to choose one person who would go to the IWB. He or she will spin the wheel. If the student doesn’t know the name of the picture or can’t answer for the question, he/she has only 5 seconds to ask the team about it. If the team gives a correct answer they get one point. Each team could go to the IWB only three times.
