Мета:

практична: активізувати лексичні одиниці теми, удосконалювати навички усного мовлення; розвивати навички читання й аудіювання; сприяти розвитку в учнів уміння описувати британські кулінарні традиції, використовуючи для цього необхідний лексико-граматичний матеріал у межах теми; розвивати комунікативні навички та навички граматики (порядок слів у реченні).

освітня: розширити знання учнів про британські кулінарні традиції.

розвиваюча: розвивати увагу, пам’ять, логічне мислення, мовну здогадку й мовленнєву реакцію учнів;

виховна: виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні свого світогляду, пропагувати культуру здорового способу життя.

Обладнання: підручник з англійської мови для 10 класу, робочий зошит, роздатковий матеріал.

Well, our study today is devoted to the Traditional British Cuisine. We are going to continue conversation about British Food. We are going also to talk about British meals and British traditions in cooking. I want you to be active and attentive because your home task will be to write down an essay about British national cuisine.

T: Let’s start our lesson! Pupils look at the handouts. There are popular British proverbs about food but they were mixed. Your task is to match the beginning and the endings.
