T: Учні поділяються на дві команди: «хрестиків» і «нуликів». Кожна команда по черзі обирає число, а вчитель читає відповідне запитання. Якщо гравці відповідають на нього, то вчитель замість цифри ставить значок команди, що дала відповідь: х або 0. Перемагає команда, що має три хрестики або три нулики поряд.

T: Now let’s answer to my questions:

• What traditional British food can you name? (Fish-and-chips, Yorkshire pudding.)
• What are the three main ingredients of traditional Christmas Pudding in Britain? (Flour, bread crumps and eggs.)
• What is «High Tea»? (A substantial meal between 5 and 6 o’clock.)

1) Впр. 1 (с. 69).

Учні самостійно заповнюють пропуски в тексті поданими словами, а потім ланцюжком читають речення тексту.

2) Впр. 2 (с. 69).

Учні самостійно письмово заповнюють пропуски в умовних реченнях відповідними формами дієслів з дужок, а потім по черзі читають речення.

3) Впр. 3 (с. 70).

Учні самостійно читають текст і розташовують речення у правильній послідоності.

4) Впр. 4 (с. 71).

Учні слухають діалог (Tapescript (Unit 4. Check Your Skills, p. 71), с. 190),

а потім по черзі читають подані твердження, погоджуютья з правильними і виправляють неправильні.
