Causes of Natural Disasters Read the given text
Natural disasters are dangerous events that happen and do the tasks
because of nature. They can destroy houses, cities, and forests. There are different causes of natural disasters.
One cause is weather. Storms, heavy rain, and strong winds can cause hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes. When there is no rain for a long time, it can cause a drought.
Another cause is movement of the Earth. Earthquakes happen when the ground moves. Volcanoes erupt when hot lava comes out from the earth. Tsunamis start because of earthquakes in the ocean.
Some disasters happen because of people. Cutting down too many trees can cause floods and landslides. Pollution makes the climate hotter, and this can cause more hurricanes and wildfires.
To protect nature and people, we must take care of the environment and be ready for disasters. 🌍💨🔥
