з англійської мови

у 5 класі

Тема: „Магія тварин (Animal magic)”

Мета:  

навчальна: ознайомити учнів з цікавими фактами із життя диких тварин, тренувати учнів у вживанні навчального матеріалу попереднього уроку; закріпити знання лексичних одиниць за темою «Тварини», активізувати вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал, описувати тварин та їх поведінку, вдосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання й усного мовлення;

розвиваюча: розвивати логічне мислення, увагу та зорову пам'ять, спостережливість, розвивати усні комунікативні уміння з опорою на наочність, уважно стежити за презентованою інформацією, ефективно співпрацювати під час групової роботи, мотивувати готовність брати участь в іншомовному спілкуванні, учити працювати у групі, розвивати соціокультурну компетенцію; виховна: виховувати почуття любові до тварин та природи, зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань, поєднання навчального матеріалу з життям, загальну культуру учнів.

Обладнання:  наочний матеріал «Тварини», тематичні картки, роздатковий матеріал для групової роботи, презентація «Тварини», аудіозапис, магічна коробка, ноутбук, телевізор.

Хід уроку

І. Організаційний момент.

1) Привітання.

Вчитель: Good morning, pupils! I am glad to see you! The bell has already rung, so it´s high time to begin our lesson. How are you, my dears? Are you in a good mood? I hope, you´ll be active, work hard and get excellent marks at the end of the lesson.

2) Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Вчитель: Today we´ll have an unusual and interesting lesson. We are going to travel to the Animal Magic planet. So, can you guess who lives on this planet? Right! Animals and birds live there. You´ll know many new facts from their life at our lesson. We´ll learn a lot of useful information about our friends. During our lesson we will stop at the different stations to do some tasks.

Look at the board, please! Here you see the motto of our lesson. Will you be so kind and read it? (1 pupil reads). Thank you. Now let´s read the motto of our lesson together: „The Earth will lose its soul without animals”. What is a key word? (Animals). Here you see new words: earth, to lose, soul, without.

1. Children, let´s make Word Bank about animals. (5 words)

 Open your copybooks and write down the date. (Учні записують дату, номер модуля, тему та по 5 слів до кожного виду тварин у зошити та по одному зачитують слова, які записали).

1. Can you tell me what animals live:

1. in the forest (wolf, fox, bear)
2. in the ponds (frog, fish)
3. in the jungle (monkey,tiger,crocodile,lion)
4. in the rivers and seas (fish,piranha,shark, crocodile)
5. on a farm (cow,fish,hen,horse,goat)
6. at your home (hamster,dog, cat,parrot)
7. in the fields (lizard, spider, snail)

And now, close your eyes and count to ten. Ok. Now, open your eyes. You are at the land of animals.

3) Введення в іншомовне середовище. Мовна зарядка.

Вчитель: We will travel by bus. But to buy the tickets, we have to remember the names of animals. (Гра «Ланцюжок» «The chain»: у кожного учня на парті лежить картка з малюнком і назвою тварин, необхідно побудувати ланцюжок: наприклад, на одній картці малюнок жабки + a dog, на іншій – малюнок собаки+a snake і т.д.) Учні виходять до дошки зі своєю карткою, читають слово на ній і прикріплюють свою картку на дошку. Ланцюжок повинен замкнутися на  картинці і слові „tickets“.

II. Основна частина уроку.

1. Розвиток навичок говоріння.(Speaking)

Вчитель: The first station is „Secret Station“ .I have a secret for you. Look! It is a box. It’s a magic box. There are many interesting cards for you. When the music starts, you have to pass this box to each other, when music stops, a pupil, who has a box opens it and takes a card. Your task is to take the picture out of the box and to describe it. Let´s start.

      2) Розвиток усного мовлення.

Вчитель: The second station is „Riddles”. Read the clues and guess the animal.

1. I live in the river. I am not fish. I am green. What am I?  (frog)
2. I am from Africa. I am green. I am big. I am strong. I can swim very well. I like fish. (crocodile)  
3.  I am grey, strong. I can run, jump. I like meat. (wolf)

ears and a small tail. I like carrots. (rabbit)

6. I am not small.  I am not big. I can run, jump, climb. I like milk. I like mice. I live in the house. (cat)
7. I am red and I have a fine tail, I live in the forest, I like meat. (fox)
8. I live in the forest. I like bananas. (monkey)
9. This animal likes grass. It is a domestic animal. It gives us milk. It’s black and white. (cow)

2. Розвиток навичок читання. (Reading)

Вчитель: The third station is Reading “On the farm”

1.Read the text. One animal is in the photos, but not in the blog. Put a cross(x)

next to the photo.

2. Read the text again. Are the sentences true(T) or false(F)?

Вчитель: The fourth station is “Dancing“ Children, do you like dancing? Let´s dance! (Руханка з використанням інтерактивного відео).

4.  Розвиток навичок аудіювання. (Listening)

 The fifth station is Listening „A day in the life…“

Вчитель: 1. Look at the photos. What do you think the text is about? (ex.1 p.45)

           а) an article about tarantulas;

           b)  a text about life in a zoo;

c)  a blog about animals.

2. Check your answers. Listen the text and answer the questions. (ex.3p.45 CD2.2)

     1) What´s Tom´s job? He´s a zoo keeper.

     2) When does Tom get up?

     3)  When does he start work?

     4) Where do the hissing cockroaches come from?

     5) Where does the tarantula come from?

     6) What animal is Tom scared of?    

3 .Listen the text again. Are the sentences true (T) or false (F)? (ex.4 p45)

                   1) Tom feeds the animals in the morning. F

                   2) Tom sometimes hides the hissing cockroaches´ food in different places.

                   3) Tiny is only ten years old.

                   4) Visitors to the zoo are scared of the red-knee tarantula.
