Murka likes to fight

Petryk has a big cat. The cat’s name is Murka. Murka does not like dogs. But she is not afraid of them.

Murka fights against the dogs in the yard. She fights with the dogs in the street. When Murka sees a dog, she runs up to it and begins to fight.

One day Murka came  into Petryk’s room. She heard the barking of the dog there. She jumped up but she could not see the dog. She ran around the room but she could not see the dog.  She ran up to the CD player but she could not see the dog.

Petryk looked at Murka and began to laugh. “That is not a dog, Murka!” he says. “There is no dog in the room. You hear the barking by the CD player.”
