Конспект уроку англійської мови "Merry Christmas"

Тема: «Merry Christmas!»

-практична: повторити й активізувати лексичний матеріал теми. Продовжувати формувати навички мовлення, практикувати учнів у вживанні слів з теми.

-освітня:  сформувати уявлення учнів про особливості святкування Різдва в Англії, та закріпити вивчення традиційної англійської різдвяної пісні “We wish you a Merry Christmas!”

-виховна: виховувати повагу до однокласників, до родини, сімейних цінностей та традицій.

-розвиваюча: продовжувати розвивати навички письма, тренувати пам'ять та увагу.

Обладнання: flashcards,Christmas Tree, fireplace, stockings,картки з реченнями, презентація, підручник, зошит.

 

                                                                          Хід уроку

І. Організаційний момент

1. Greeting (Привітання)

T: Good morning, dear children. I am glad to see you.

    P: Good  morning , teacher.  We are glad to see you ,too.

    T: Turn around and say  “ Good day” for our guests.

    P: Good day!

2. Aim (Повідомлення теми та мети уроку)

- The topic of the lesson is “Merry  Christmas”. English people get their presents in the stockings. And Santa Clause have prepared presents for you too. We have got a fireplace wіth stockings. We must do all tasks and then you’ll get your presents from Santa.

-Today we’re going to speak about  Christmas, to ask and answer the questions, to read and write  and of course to play.

Let’s begin!

  Find the blue stocking! 

T: First of all, let’s train our tongues. At school  you’re taught to speak correctly.  Look at the screen. Repeat after me:

s-s-s        a snowman

k-k-k       a card

b-b-b       a bell                                 

            p-p-p        a present

  T: It’s high time to remember  the rhyme. But I forgot some words. Help me , please.

T: Now, let’s repeat the rhyme all together.

Look at the snow

It is soft and white

Look at the trees

What a pretty sight.

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

1.Revising  vocabulary and grammar. 

a) Revising  vocabulary

T: You learnt a lot of words to the topic “ Christmas” . And if you want to show a good result first of all let’s repeat the words .

-Well done! Santa Claus is happy. He thanks you!

-But what is the holiday without Christmas tree?

-Look at our tree . Is everything OK?

- Lеt’s decorate our Christmas tree with your’s balls.

- Санта-Клаусу потрібно допомогти прикрасити ялинку різнокольоровими іграшками.

My Christmas ball is …. .

T: Let’s find the yellow stocking!  

(На панчосі малюнок дітей, що загубили подарунки)

Let’s help these children and find their presents.

• Where is a present for Nick?
• It is in the blue stocking.

T.: What colour is the Santa’s hat?

P1: The hat is red.

T.:What colour is the Santa’s beard?

P2: The beard is white.

Т.: Do you know a song about Santa?

Ps.: Yes, we do.

T.: Let’s sing.

 

S-A-N-T-A

Red hat, white beard, twinkle in his eyes

Santa is his name-O

            S-A-N-T-A, S-A-N-T-A, S-A-N-T-A

And Santa is his name-O

 

 2.Reading. Робота з текстом.

• Pre-reading activities.            

- So, it’s time to read. Our text is unusual .  Some words are missing. But instead words you can see pictures. Our task is to name a picture and then you can see a word.

• While-reading activities.

T. Read the text .

 -You have signs with letters T  and  F. Read the sentence and show your sign.

•  The snow is white.
• The trees are green.
• The Santa Claus is nice.

Write a Christmas card

А ще Санта-Клаус підписує дітям вітальні листівки і вітає з Різдвом

 “ Merry Christmas” .        

- Repeat after me:  Merry Christmas!   

( Вчитель починає, діти продовжують ланцюжком ).  

А зараз підпишемо вітальні листівки.  Але слова на листівці розгубилися.

1. Домашнє завдання.

Розмалювати Санта Клауса за вказаними кольорами

Підведення підсумків уроку.

T. And now I want to ask you.

 Did you like today’s lesson? Чи сподобався вам урок сьогодні?

 What was the most interesting? Що було найцікавішим?

 What was difficult? Що було складним?

T: And finally let’s find the red stocking. Look this stocking is with presents!

You were very active and work very good that’s why Santa Clause  prepared some presents for you! Look this is a big stocking for you!

(Вчитель дає дітям велику панчоху з вітальними листівками)

• And at the end of our lesson let’s sing a song for Santa Claus and congratulate each other with happy holiday – Christmas!
