1 The theme of our lesson is … oh, somebody rubbed some letters from the blackboard and I can’t read it. Can you help me? W_    L_ _E    A_IM_L_

2 Look at the word  ANIMALS, tell me what animal you know using each letter from this word. Pupils’ answers

3 Look at the blackboards. There are 3 envelopes 1- WILD    2-DOMESTIC     3-PET

   Take a card, name the animal and put the picture to the correct envelope

4 Group work- let’s unite into groups, take a part of a puzzle, find the pupil with another part, sit at the desk with the same animal word

Group 1-a  crocodile

Group 2-a cat

Group 3- a hippo

Group 4- a cow

Do you like riddles? I think yes. Listen to one and guess what animal it is, write this word on the blackboard

I  am a bird, I can’t fly but I can swim, I am black and white, I like when it is cold.

Well done, it’s a penguin.

Now it’s you turn, work in groups and present your animal in a form of a riddle

6 Reading

Open your Pupil’s books on page 24 and let’s do ex 1. Read the text about Hipsway Zoo, read the statements below and say “yes” or “no”
