to review Present Continuous
Competences:
Language competence: pupils study and practice the new words from the topic “Amusement park”.
Cultural awareness and expressions: the teacher practice the chant with the pupils.
Social and civic competences: Work group (ask, answer, play)
Mathematic competences: Pupils solve different puzzles, play domino, work with reading cards.
Materials: Flashcards, Domino, Reading cards, circle mood.
By the end of the lesson the pupils should pronounce correctly and study the new words on the topic, to review Present continuous structures.
Procedure
Good morning! How are you? How do you feel today? (the pupils’ answers)
They show their mood on the circle
Are you ready to work? (the pupils show lego bricks) Let’s start…..
Let’s revise the sounds
We divide as usual into three groups and work on the phonetical cards

The teacher ask the pupils to guess the meanings of the new words (she names the words and word combinations and show the actions they mean, and the pupils should choose the card on the table with the name of the action and repeat after the teacher the action and the word)
Listen to the new words and repeat after the speaker (Quick minds CD 3 /34 )
