Мета: - повторити ЛО теми, активізація їх у мовленні учнів
повторити граматичний матеріал: The Present Simple Tense
Методи навчання: бесіда, діалог, пояснення, робота в групах, робота з лексичним та граматичним матеріалом, самостійна робота з картками.
Тип уроку: урок узагальнення та систематизації вивченого.

І.INTRODUCTION ( Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.)
1. 1. Greeting (Привітання)
T: Good afternoon, children! How are you today?
Ps: We are fine, thank you! And you?
T: I’m OK. I’m glad to see you. I wish you a good day and good marks. Are you ready for the lesson? Let’s start. What day is it today?

1.2. Aim (Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.)
T:. Today we’ll continue our talk about our free time activities and hobbies. Today we’ll practice topical vocabulary and grammar material (Present Simple Tense), improve your reading, listening, writing and speaking skills, and do a lot of interesting tasks. Due to this topic you will be able to read different articles in the newspapers and magazines, watch TV programs about hobbies and get more information about people’s free time activities.
T: Look at the blackboard and read an English proverb.
Proverb: “Many men, many minds”
T: But we can remake this proverb into : “Many men, many hobbies” Do you agree with me? We can prove it.
1.3. Warming up. (Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.) Vocabulary revision
T: We will start our lesson as usual with a warming-up. Look at your cards. Your task is to complete the verbs with topical vocabulary and make word-combinations, for example:
To watch –films
To listen to – music
To read – newspapers, books, magazines
To collect – stamps, coins, badges, watches, toy cars
To play – volleyball, football, tennis, the violin, piano, guitar
To go to – the theatre, cinema, museum

T: Before reading the text look at the pictures…What kinds of hobby can you see on the pictures and then tell me what is your hobby or what do you do in your free time.
T: Let’s read the text “My hobby” and tell what is Jane’s hobby or what does she like doing in her pastime. Read the text one by one.
My hobby
Hello! My name is Jane. I’m ten. I go to school and I’m always busy at school.
When I have some free time I usually have a rest, read, draw or play interesting games. I like many things but my favourite hobby is hip-hop dancing. I go to the dance club three days a week: on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’ve got a lot of friends there. We can dance many nice dances. We’ve got beautiful costumes. I love dancing very much!
I also like collecting stamps. I am not a great(великий) collector. I just take the stamps from envelopes (конвертів) that my parents and friends give me. Sometimes I get(отримую) stamps from such countries as France, Italy and Britain. I keep(зберігаю) my stamps in a small album.

2.3 Speaking. Grammar practice
T: Children, and now I offer you to revise grammar material. We have already learnt Present Simple Tense. To revise this tense, let’s describe pictures and say what your friends like doing in their free time.
for example: Sasha likes fishing, Kate likes drawing and I like swimming.
2.4. Listening
T: Children, look at the words given below. Let’s try to guess the meaning of these words.
Dynamic – active (активний)
A mystery story – is a story in which strange things happened (містичні історії)
Sociable – willing to talk with others ( комунікабельний, дружелюбний)
Sincere – honest, open (щирий)
Camping – an activity of staying in a tent ( кемпінг, відпочинок на природі)
T: Split into 2 teams, listen to the children’s stories about their hobbies and be ready to do the tasks. Each team will have a different task. The first team is listening to Peter Smiths and the second team is listening to Rachel Browns
