Т: Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. Let's start our English lesson.

Т: Today we'll have a very interesting topic. We are going to speak about friends and friendship.

1. ФОНЕТИЧНА ЗАРЯДКА

Т: Let's pronounce the proverb about friendship in chain. Pay attention to the pronunciation of sound [i:] and intonation. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

2. МОВЛЕННЄВА ЗАРЯДКА

1)T: It's nice to have a lot of friends. Everybody needs friendship. You are nice pupils. You study at school, have a lot of classmates, play in the yard with other children. There are so many people around with different interests and characters. Let's try to answer the question: How to choose the real friend Real friends have much in common: common interests, hobbies, characters. That's why before speaking about friends and friendship let's learn the new words and word-combinations using the features of character.

(Потрібно на дошці написати нові слова з транскрипцією. Разом із учнями записуємо переклад слів, користуючись словниками. Потім учні записують слова, транскрипцію та переклад у свої словники.)

Good features of character: tidy, well-bred, active, hardworking, helpful, friendly, serious, polite, strong, optimistic, kind, kind-hearted, clever, brave, honest, attentive, cheerful, reliable.

Bad features of character: untidy, ill-bred, boastful, coward, lazy, selfish, greedy, stubborn, shy, irresolute.

2. Match the words to their meanings.
