My home town
My name is … I live in Brody. It is a beautiful and anciet town in the West of Ukraine.
We have got a big town square with a monument to Taras Shevchenko. Behind the town square there is a post office. There is also a nice central park in our town. You can have a rest on the bench there, or ride a bike. There is a police station behind the park and in front of it you can see a cinema, but it doesn’t work. Next to the park there is a library and a Historical museum.
There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in Brody too, but we haven’t got a shopping centre.
There are also some banks and hospitals in my town.
Our town has got a good connection. There is a bus and a train station. One of the best hotels is called Europe. The main street is Zolota Street. You can visit different shops there or just walk along the street.
It’s a pity, we haven’t got a swimming pool in Brody.
There are 4 schools , a Gymnasium and a Pedagogical College in my town. I am a student of school number 2.
In conclusion I want to say, that there are many beautiful cities and towns in the world. But there is no place like home. I love my native town , because I was born here and live with my parents. It’s not the capital, but it is a wonderful place to live.
